We need more details on this custom leathers order, who did you order from and exactly what did you order so forum members can avoid them in the future or maybe send a couple of nasty letters their way. You didn't go Pilot did you? I think Vanson Leathers has a pretty good rep so it's probably not them or Bates Leathers either.

All is well. Thanks for the backup, Kruz. I got over it after I blew off steam with them. Really, I'm not pressed to go anywhere that I need that suit. Thought, I can roam the cabin and vacation anyplace I want these days. Got a confirmation for next Friday. Watch for the UPS man. A communication glitch that worked out fine. Right now, It's 7 days or less I was told. We shall see.

Hey Kruz, I would stay away from a 1 piece if you want to be stylin' at all. A 1 piece is strictly for being ON the bike (or off and sliding on yer azz). I saw a hundred guys in 1 piece suites at my track day and they all looked baggy and saggy. That is the nature of the beast. A lot of those guys went with Speed and straeng which is ptolly cheaper. Most leathers had a lot of scrapes. Obviously they had been in a fall. Those guys buy leather for protection and I doubt they give appearance too much thought.

Rook, yer right, off the bike, one piece suits are not stylish, two piece looks way better but of course less protection. Blue, it's not a race suit. It's called peel me another skin layer. I'm going to die broke buying bike. So, if I'm going to enjoy what little time I have left or whatever comes my way, I'm going to walk away from the 14th one is keep it coming. I'm not trying to go fast. I dress for the fall.

If I sea wet in this suit and peespire in it, hey, it's my suit now! I get to shit in it too. I just need some mean nasty bike to do it to me. I cannot discuss the pleasure I had yes tear day is how this bike smooths thru traffic. I'm sure sir office sir saw that me new veer and shook his head laughing. Then, the other beauty was another one sitting on the other side me coming over that crest.

Oh how I plow into that turn I have room. But I had to lift and she was so air bubbled, it looked like I was flowing with traffic just to show him I was slowing down from their 75 mph average. I try to run on the right but they just blow past me phone in ear.

Suit up! It is a New safety tactic for me pal. I'm not sticking around a car with a bike like this. One more time; The faster you are off the street... The longer you see your skin deplete.

The Joey sorta yellow mandatory stripe needed. I was sort of happy nothing was done. I now wanted the number changed to; DO NOT RESUSCITATE so I did. Get it? The gloves are starting to loosen up. I think they are starting to fit better. The left boot I hope grows. The right boot is perfect. Both matching DNR's on the arm and leg.

Fit wise, I stretched my arms straight and it was awkward in a good way. When I relaxed the arms on the 14, I could feel nothing! She fits like a glove! My old denim jacket fits over it so I am stealth up top. I don't stand out... Yeah right. With that bottom setup? I'm covering up that puppy too. I had a set of denims waiting just for this day.

And no, I do not feel any crazier than before. Taking the same chances being out in the street as usual. Oh, and as I was sweating them in, the trick is to [break a 2-piece in like one] if you are going to stretch it as a set. Then, make the whole suit break in until it... You'll known when it's going to fell like that is all she wrote.

Cheeze-its ha hot! This morning, I soaked that puppy all up. I am free to roam the cabin. Daytona ear I come! Yeah, right! I'll wait till this thing dries out. Wait for a cold morning and out fat 1bad I suit up. Half that cow is the shoe alone. Short of a slight complaint; my left foot was slipping off the peg and may dig up that bottom boot. I need to meguyveer something there. Other than that; the right foot was planted as if I was running naked the whole ride.

Here is the downside. I didn't want that nylon lining burning into my skin being that last layer. I wanted cotton to be the last layer. I was told to use a pressure suit kind of layer and measure. Here we go again with the skin exposed; what I didn't want touching me. If the break in fits where I need a pressure kind of bicycle suit, or one of those wetsuit pre suit; the one where your wetsuit slips on easier. Then, I guess I'll live with it. I tried to measure larger so I could winter up. No joy. Therefore... It's now a wait and see if that expansion gives a little or I have to stop eating.

Way to go Hubster, looks awesome! Where are the pants? Now do tell, who sewed up your new skins and how much did you spend? They are hot, it's 10:00 in the morning here in Texas and I'm done until maybe 7:00 tonight. Weekends, I'm on the road by 6:30 AM, all gear all the time, you never know when you'll need it. Leathers cheap, skin costs...dearly. I put up with the discomfort, part of the experience. Only part of my gear I don't use every day is the pants. Hard core twisties, pants go on. Blue07, get the suit, get all of the gear. If you ever need it you'll thank me.

Oh, I thought that was the shoulder armor. Hang em on a hangar or better yet, put the whole thing on and get somebody to shoot you on bike. What made you decide to get the suit if you don't mind me asking? It wasn't my little mishap was it?

I like the DNR. Subtle enough that most won't get it, although many will wonder. Leave it be mysterious. ----- the med techs would be looking for your ID to see if your name is Donald Nelson Rodgers.

I still have all 3 of my 1 piece race suits with sponsors on them. I have my jacket only and now this 2-piece suit times 5 coweebunga that's a lot of moo. I figure I'm going to die broke, buy one bike after the other and hope I don't see an ambulance come but to wave them off; Like the last 3 times I do believe it is 3 or 2 for damn sure.

That is a negatory on the follow the pack. I've worn a helmet when there was no law for it, if you mean I suit up for the crash is yes... Short of that one last ride taught me well. So here is that suit for the skin is getting thin but not my balls.

Thanks, Dogo, Steve. If I knew about that arm stripe running down there, I would have stopped it. I thought it was going to be like I wanted. No matter. I'm trying to let this thing grow on me. Way too much yellow for me. We were not on the same page or I did not remember the line needed to connect all that pattern together. Man, it is involved but I'm not about to give any firm report on quality. I'll break this in come some cold spell in a few months. It goes quick. I'm bucking this thing up against a 30 year old jacket without a stitch showing sans the neck part where the velcro is... And that is about it. I'm not about to send it back. I have fishing line and needle... I can patch/repair no problem. I'm a jackass of all trades.
