^^^^ I am voting for Hub's design. Seriously. I like the simplicity a lot more than the full on race look. JMHO.
.the only actual "protection" I see on there as opposed to having good riding pants and jacket...is that neck/back protector on the back.
I have a jacket zip pant and like it. I feel safer with the leather pant than jeans for sure and the zip is some extra insurance that the garments would stay in place properly. A suit----that is not going to roll up and expose skin.. Safer than a 2 piece. One thing you can't get away from with the one piece is the saggy ass look when you stand up straight. I think that could actually allow some skin injury from sliding inside the leathers but that is much better than having the pant slide down or the jacket up. As you say , blue , 'none of it will protect under all circumstances.' The one piece is better for high speed slides, seems to me. The speed hump is extra back protection but mainly aerodynamic, AFAIK. IDK if they are even leather covered all the time. Just foam on some suits--at least that is what I remember a friend telling me ~10 years ago. Got a leather covered hump on my Laguna jacket with a vynyl rib w air vent down the center.
