I'm terrible at making decisions and need some help here, I've decided on having a set of Pilot custom leathers sewn up, 3-4 weeks and they are delivered to your door step. I've narrowed it down to these two designs below, with T my favorite and Q my second fave. I'm partial to the black lowers on Q and I think I would probably have them change the red lowers on T over to black if I go that route. You guys know the colors of my bikes, two are red/black, one green and one black so what do you think would work best or should I just keep it simple and stick with all black as a third option? Remember, I'm going to be wearing these out on the backroad twisties this spring and will have to stop for gas or pull into a Dairy Queen for refreshments occasionally, so I don't want to freak out the locals. BTW my boots are Black Sidis, Gloves are Black Taichis and I have Red/Silver and Grey/Silver helmets. I don't think I could lose either way as both of these would look sharp on any of the bikes. What sayest thou?

I like "T" best... only thing is, it looks like you should be riding a pasta rocket and not a rice burner. Tough call... whatever you decide it'll be a very nice pair of leathers.

As soon as I looked at the two, i agreed that T would be better with black lower legs. Here ya go. That's just what you want.

Personally, I think I would be going with mostly black with a white chest and back. That's going to match everything.

You are getting pretty extreme to most people's point of view already by 1) wearing leather, 2) brightly colored leather and 3) a 1 piece suite. Hey, man --I think it's the coolest cuz I'm into this so much like you are but personally, I would be avoiding DQ or anywhere I wasn't riding on the bike and moving at a pretty decent speed. I would stop for gas in that getup but no way would I be in public walking around unless perhaps a bike event. ---get ready for people to ask for your autograph. But you gotta be you. You know, I'll wear my white boots but you wouldn't dream of that. You wear your red and black and white one piece---I'll go for a b/w 2 piece so I can at least take off the jacket if i stop somewhere.

On the track----I would get any leathers. I would not be so concerned about color --more low cost.

2ND. Black solid works with all bikes. Less Bling = less tickets, depending who stops you. That suit looks fast on the Hanger lol .

Rook you da man, that looks like a pro level photo shop job. Yea it does look very racy, do you guys think that Q might be a little less bling? Rook can you take the red one and black out the sides and upper legs but leave the red stripe on the sides? Wouldn't I need to black out the sleeves and upper chest then? Decisions, decisions!

So what I did was order plain black, being my color if you call black a color. Then I was told I needed a shoulder piece and that takes some stitch where you add a color at that shoulder to arm pit; then the body is the next big piece to sew up. See the [white front/back of suit] in the photo?

As that line goes all the way around to connect the black and white[photo], I thought of the spider being black and red, then I thought yellow jacket as far as picking nature's matching colors. I chose just a yellow stripe to accent that area. I then added a few custom pieces to the pants and jacket to make it like a cat pissing on it's territory to call it mine.

It was suggest to me to use yellow under the custom design and as I laid the yellow under the black, it worked there too. I sort of stopped thinking I'd mark my boots like old style but there was enough to frighten the locals once that suit is going to be worn like a marked man will I need to cover up LOL!

No, not really. I think a leather suit is going to speak volumes no matter what color it is. If you get stopped going fast, the suit isn't going to help. You know I love my Laguna jacket and I am planning to get those white boots b4 they run out of my size (MCSS only has 43 and 49 in white). I would like to match that up with a A*** race pant in black & white leather. I will be extra careful to NOT get stopped when I am wearing full gear.

I like rooks selection "T" WITH THE "bLACK" LOWER LEGS IMO LOL

Pros and cons here folks on wearing racing leathers on the street?
1. Visibility, the cagers are going to notice you for sure.
2. Visibility, popo is going to notice you too!
3. Protection, it doesn't get any better than this.
4. Attention,if you crave it this is going to get it for you every time you stop for gas.
5. Comfort, even though they are perforated, Texas heat may be a factor here.

All good points there Blue. I talked to Rook about this last night and we both agreed unless they got ya locked up on radar, there's no law against looking fast...lol! OK, I think You guys have convinced me to go with the red lowers, tell 'em to make 'em just like Doug Polen's but ditch the Ducati emblem, Kawasaki in black on the sleeves and replace the big One on One Riders logo with Pilot. Everything else the same right down to the patches. I was hoping to hear from Romans but that hoser is probably out riding...lol!
