I was best man at a friends wedding Saturday evening and wore the new suit instead of a tux......J/K
Kruz, you need a pair of these to complete the look.

Thanks Blue, I think the fit is pretty close to perfect but it will take them a little time to stretch in. I wanna see Hub now in his Batman suit in a full tuck. Nice boots Rookster, that otta get you some attention!

May sound a tad KooKoo...but how about a good session of saddle soap or some other leather softener/conditioner.Might make er work in a lot easier and quicker?IDK.Where'd you say those BLUE and WHITE suits were at?The more I look at your suit...the more I like the idea of having a full on street suit.Really looks excellent!Perfect color combos there. You said people "looked at ya"...ya,I imagine they did...probably thinkin.."Now THERE'S a guy who takes riding seriously, probably follows all the rules to a tee...not like some o' those Harley guys wearin t-shirts and bandanas!"
The fact that you're sportin that gear shows you DO take riding seriously...and the consequences.Gotta respect that my man!

Watch out! Here come the storm troopers! ;)
I don't think you gotta worry about what you look like in that suit Kruz. It is very modest looking, except maybe the knees which I don't think you could get around without making the suit less of a suit. I've seen some dooseys around here like an Asian fellow (super nice guy BTW and I don't mean to make fun-just sayin), he's about four foot tall and he wore this burgundy one piece suit and rode a dark green bike. He looked like a power ranger getting off that big bike. The color combo was just odd. I don't think you can go wrong with black though. I really wish I had saved some cash to get myself some black leather riding pants to wear over my jeans this summer

Blue, here's a couple of the Pilot designs I like that would probably go well with your 14. See more at http://www.pilotleathers.com/
I was talking to a fellow rider last evening that just came back from Europe. He told me the sport bike riders over there take their riding very serious and wear a full suit on the road and people think nothing of it. I do think it makes a physchological difference, I rode my 14 last night with just the jacket, boots, gloves and jeans and didn't feel as protected as I did with the full get up on.
Maybe in a year or two I'll go back to Pilot and have them make me up that one piece suit I wanted.

Rook, please remove the price tag from those boots before you go ride, they might get hung up in the chain or something.

Yea Edgecrusher that would be nice, it was pretty cool here Sunday morning, about 56 degrees and I noticed the microperforations in the pants were working, you could really feel the breeze once you got moving. I gotta funny feeling they are going to cool better than jeans this summer as long as you keep moving...stop and you're thighs are going to cook. Jackets a different story, non-perforated but it is vented, two zipper vents in front and two in the back for airflow control. It was 90 here yesterday and the jacket was fine as long as you were moving at a good clip, stop with that sun beating down and your back really heats up quick. In the summer I like to leave about 6:00 am while it's still cool and ride all day back in the twisties, we'll find out pretty quick if I can do that in the new suit.

A bunch of us ride in full suits around here. I would rather have people look at me funny, than pay the price for NOT wearing it. I will NOT ride hard unless in a full suit!

Thanks, blue. Look at how ballooned I am when I suit up on the upper area. I can't go down at this age and then go out in the sun anymore like even a picnic; I have to cover up. Well, what were the odds that day I took a tumble with a locked throttle all t-shirt, sneakers, and sweats.
I paidearly for that day I do not want to repeat; I mean skin wise. I'll take the fly in the air it [IS] fun while it happens; don't get me wrong about that E-Ticket Ride. A pilot "Ejected" more like it.
In europe, everyone wants to look like, ride like, sit on a bike like, where here; leathers mean strange to the American Idiot that if you ask europe who Rossi is... It's not the same here is what I mean.
I rather look like a squid with the steamers out the handlebars and the playing card clothes pinned to a spoke. I'm a clash between a mod and a rocker, or whatever the current craze is. Either way, I just blend in or stand out.
Kruz, I'll take one each. One is better looking than the other. I can't decide. Bu/Bk/W work. I have a pair of tan overalls that I bought thinking I'd fit in my old leathers. HA! Last thing I want to do is stretch that new cow. I do not want that flapping when I am over a ton, son! LOL H2ho-ho-ho-green giant my hef-her? Not a chance!

I was looking at those leathers, as Im a bigger rider, 6-2 and 280, and needed a custome job.
I did find a Joe rocket 6.0 one peice suit to work for me thou,, new it was $550.
At the track day i went to Saturday, I over heard a kid talking to an instuctor, and he got a custome one peice suit made in Iowa for $500,, and it was very nice looking.
I also got that white helmet,, and some white Knox handroid gloves,,, would post a picture, but its so damn hard too on this site!

Stay away from the Dainese then, they are definitely a Euro cut and won't fit a full sized American guy well. I ended up with a size 58 Euro jacket and pants. I would have been better off with a size 60 jacket to fit my chest and a size 56 in the pants as I notice the 58 waist are starting to fall off my back side and the jacket is stretched pretty tight in the armpits. I do like these leathers though, I've done a couple of rides and you definitely will start holding the throttle open more in the turns knowing you have some good protection. The knee and elbow gaurds are monstrous but that's OK, I like the look. Good luck on finding those leathers, custom is prolly the way to go.

Oh it's all good Blue, I'm just bitchin..... Lol! The fit in a tuck is awesome, not sure why but it adds support when you're hunkered down behind the windscreen for a long time. I really don't like to ride without the suit anymore, really comfy. You're next, everybodies buyin leathers, even Rook!

Well, IDK, it's 2 days short of 4 weeks. 2 more [weeks] to go? At least, that was my window told it would take.

You're going to love this, Kruz. Payback time. Or maybe? We have anybody that knows contract law? Yeah, it's out of state, so here is the scenario. The promise time was 6 to 8 weeks. It's been twice that time and nothing has been cut. I figure they dropped the ball and did not keep their side of the contract.
I paid in full. Expected nothing more than to wait in line for the next whatever line I have to wait in. I lost confidence in the place. Don't want the thing anymore if they did not even start after 12 weeks. As far as what I've read on line, basically, that contract was not filled on their end.
And if I read cali contract law, it said something like "excuse" will not apply. I assume it means, we may be hung up but that 6 to 8 week window says 'excuse' has to be filled within that period so do not bring any excuse short of the place burning down or a twister taking it out kind of legit excuse.
Dragging there ass is no excuse, I would assume I could go out there and wait for my hearing. Unless I am stuck with a no return policy where they haven't cut the cloth or anything I was told.
Pretty cool, right? I'm stuck in the middle, lost any confidence of the place meeting a deadline is one more excuse after the other. I rather bail out altogether. I have only the verbal contract of 6 to 8 weeks and nowhere is it written on their receipt/confirmation sent to me. What would you do?

Hubster, what the heck are you talkin about, you didn't order a set of custom leathers did you? If so it sounds like breech of contract to me but I'm no legal expert. What's payback for, you lost me there?
