Try lowering the pegs on the 10R to the lower position, much more comfortable, they ship them in the upper position.

That is a feature all bikes should have out the door. The Beemer doesn't, but still nice ergos on that bike. I also have always found the ergo's on the ZX10 to be perfect and actually the best of them all at 6' 185.

Kruz, you're making a strong case for that ZX-10 and thanks for the info. Most of it was terra incognita. A race/track bike doesn't have to be comfy etc but to me the ZX-10 is a compromise! Not the most powerful and not the most agile. It comes close on both though. I would hate to pigeon hole myself so I won't say no if I find a leftover at a low price.

Yep, that was it, you went toe to toe with the GrnMeister, the only one you blew it on was the Panigale, but like Obama winning re-election, no one saw that one coming.

BTW, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Panigale running at the front of the WSBK pack in 2013 once they get one in racing tune. I'd love to see Sykes win it for Kawasaki this year though, so close in 2012.

Kruz...did we talk about that route before? I do that 377-Ponder-Krum-Forestburg-Saint Jo-Montauge or whichever way I feel quite often. Usually do about 200-250 miles Sunday mornings home by noon to watch the Cowboys lose. But I can't this weekend. Have to take my wife to the airport and then have another event planned. Saturdays are usually still a little busy for me. Tell you what though, I may be able to arrange something different for wifes transport to airport. I'll PM you. I might be able to make it work. You'd be welcome to ride the Bimmer, (either one). If NOT this Sunday, definitely one of them coming up. I'm always open to new roads too, so if you got some, I'm in.

By the way, thanks for the compliements on the bikes fellows. I'm VERY aware that it's an embarrassment of riches and can be a bit over the top and vomit inducing, so thanks for not vomiting:) I don't intend to show off..just know that I love and appreciate motorcycles so much AND also I love to see others herds. Truth be told, if it were possible, I'd own about 30 more at least. I'm sure we're all the same there:)

That's the route, I think we did discuss it once. FM 455 is also nice but too many folks have been buying the farm out there on that road of late, kind of spooks me.

Very nice:) I don't feel quite so bad all of the sudden. Everytime one of my daughters see's me washing those bikes they say, "hey Dad didn't you tell Mom you were selling one of them?" :)

I have made my decision! We're pregnant and it's 2013 BMW 1000RR! The CBR 1000 is awesome, The ZX-10 is a good package and the Yam (50th anniversary) is sexy but you can't beat the Beemer. I want something relatively new because I won't be getting another bike for a long while after that! It's is pricy but BMW have some great financing. I have to go over the numbers with the wify but if I don't do too many track days I should be able to get the Beemer and a set of BST's for the 14 by next fall. The HP4 is nice but too expensive. Also I do not need a launch control and semi-active suspension that might not be suited for my weight.
I will be ordering some bling bling for it pretty soon and am lock and loaded on the Austin Racing AR22 with V3 titanium can and carbon F tip. Color? Blue, red, white of course. Vive la France!
