..........if I'm going to get another one..... the new MV Augusta F3 Middlewieght would be it! A relative bargain price at under $14K compared to it's F4 Big Brother and the Ducatis. The handling is supposed to be otherworldly but they are still sorting the low speed fueling, might be wise to wait until MV gets that fixed. Anyway, this is sexy Italian bedroom wall pinup material!!

Grn Man, I'm tempted bro, I just posted that top pic as a screen saver on my desktop, that's a bad sign. I really enjoy the middle weights on a twisty road, zero fun on the highway but then that's not what they're designed for.

This bike is beautiful, to my eye one of the most classic of designs. Not as well detailed as the F4 but then again they had to meet a price point with this machine.

It's about time for a progress report on your condition, how is your recovery? What about that new bike on order, you are going white with this one right...?

Augusta's have a good reputation?...if so....why not get it...it's a fun looking machine.Certainly be a stand out bike anywhere...except Italy!....looks very cool....

My condition?...I'm doing well....physically...everything has pretty much healed up....and they sent the insurance check to me....now the dealer is ordering...yes...the white one.ABS.

Gonna ride different mostly this time around.Stay in the game.Ride like I did when I first started...riding to enjoy...not prove something to myself.Yup.I'm hooked on the 14's....

No question it's gorgeous but sounds like it needs a LOT of low fueling sorting along with some other issues.

Definitely sex on wheels. A guy I know is selling is RSV4 (he owns a shop), really good condition: 3000 miles, Leo Vince full titanium exhaust etc... You could probably get it for a lot less that than sexy beast. I would love to own one but at my size it would solely be used for track days and twisties close to the house and that's a waste.

Or you could get the Triumph 675R!

Instead of more power I'm going to a different route.Carbon Fiber to the extreme.Front fender, rear hugger/chain guard,battery cover,both lowers.My bikes got enough balls.Like a 1 megaton or a 2 megaton?Maybe I'll get the guy that lowered the gears on my ZRX1100 do the same to this one.Take it from 43 to 45 only a steel sprocket.Have to check it on gearingcommander.com.By the way beautiful MV.I remember a MV Agusta with a GS1100E motor in the 90's

Yea Grn, 675cc, the Triumph 675R has it's measure in terms of midrange and of course has the upspec Ohlins suspension and Brembo Monoblocs. The MV has lower spec Brembos with Nissin master cylinders, Marzocchi forks and Sachs rear shock. The buzz right now is the F3 still has low speed fueling issues, the quickshifter needs work, otherwise handling is surgical and power, though way up high, is very good. The crankshaft is reverse rotation to reduce gyroscopic forces, I've heard it turns in like a 250 GP bike. No comparison in the looks department, the Trumpet looks a bit stodgy by comparison IMHO.

This bike is hsnds down the best looking thing on two wheels but sounds like they released it a tad prematurely. That's OK, by the time I can swing one they should have it sorted.

That thing is as exotic as a Harley.....just kidding, Harleys are as common as road grit....lol!

Sounds pretty okay to me.....I don't think you'd go wrong getting one at all.....looks like a blast....he was quite happy with it.It does look and sound extreme!Go for it!+

Yep the sound of those triplet pipes is incredibly sexy. Bike is very narrow band however, definitely track focused. It's not a street bike, listen to them pull away from a stop, lotsa revs and clutch slippage. They are fast though and did I mention sexy? I've heard all production of the F3 sold out before it was released, very hard to get one. Maybe supply will increase in 2013 and catch up to demand and they'll get the low speed fueling fixed. Powercommander maybe?

It's almost like ANY nice bike that you see...lots of opinions about em...but riding makes a huge difference...what works for one may not be okay with the next guy...but that doesn't mean...it's NOT okay.

Nope, my buddy bought a new bike and insisted we go pick it up in the middle of January. You know, new bike just calls out to it's rider,,,,, So,,, we did,,,,, 15 min later Left side of bike gone with .7 Kilometers on it. I took the gravel as soon as I saw him go down, got lucky, barely. Just a funny story now, we both still laugh about it. But at the time All Bad. I know how he felt before and after. That decision, that day seemed sound. It was nice and sunny but as you know shit happens.
