Well shi&....you know ya gotta keep the frontend loaded when yer twistin and turnin,so ya gotta get up on it....between that and loftin the frontend on the exit....what choice do you really have but to stay on the throttle and gas yer way through.Somethin's gotta give.

pull 'er outa the spokes in the rear wheel and I bet that numbness goes away.

He probably meant the whole fan assembly, or he would have said fan blade.

Well, maybe not.

Schnitz Racing sells the easy-to-install secondary fan. Once you get the radiator off, it takes like 15 minutes to install, counting soldering, shrink-wrapping, and taping.

I don't know where the switch is for the temp that kicks the fan on but a friend of mine said something about a Subaroo temp switch that he thought was an 8mm thread that kicks the fan on at 200 instead of 218.
I have to find it on the 14 so I can see if it works.

where's the fun in that?
you gotta at least factor in time putting it together and taking it back apart once or twice because I forgot a washer or some crud.lol
