I said above..."mapped for slightly less than factory mix" on idle. That was not correct. It is mapped for slightly MORE fuel at idle.

I'm glad you corrected this because I didn't want to get into how richer mixtures have a cooling effect and leaner warming. lol

I'm wondering though. You've an 08.The factory "reset" the secondaries to open quicker.I thought that was a factory way to "removing" the secondaries in the 06,07 models. My bottom woke up A LOT when I removed those flies(my 07).AND...woke up even MORE when I remapped also.(PC III).I guess I'm asking...why did you install a unit that is disabling your indicator, when you could remove he flies and remap with a PC?(although people say that removing the flies in an 08 and above won't do much since they're already set to open quicker).I think a PC would help the bottom end in any year 14 as far as I understand it.

I don't think it's the topic that keeps this debate alive but the people not willing to admit they are really just talking out their ass...

Ok there is a air tem sensor in the air I'm pretty sure on that. I actually haven't looked. I know for a fact there was one on my 07 zx-10. and the Intake air temp is on display on the 2011 zx-10. I don't think they would skip that on the 14.

I have a 160 degree thermastat in my massive cam awsome heads and big motor 99 SS I'm pretty sure thats not to low to make the oil not work. You should google that. I'm not saying I think 200 degrees is to hot or overheating by no means. I just think it should run cooler while riding. Running only water will drop an automobiles running water temp by an average of 20 degrees. Thats what I am looking for. I don't mind sitting at a redlight and the bike going up a few bars. but it should start coming down as soon as the fan comes on.

...sorry to pick on you, but what the hell? intake air temperature 'display'?? on the 14? why haven't I found this yet and why did they hide such crucial information from my view? and then you relegate to not really minding the whole temperature issue 'maybe it all in' your 'head'?

I honestly think its more in my head. because I really have no idea what the exact temp is.lol Just this horrible meter, scale, thing they got here being at the half way mark or a bar over while riding seems a little high to me but I am diffrent I guess. It really don't go up much passed that. I don't have any problems with me feeling alot of heat or anything either.

I honestly think the car guys on yellowbullet are way more noligable about this kind of stuff than anyone here. They have also told me to run windsheild washer fluid as my coolant.lol

So basically, you (like I have stated before) don't like putting your faith in a bar graph digital display of temperature instead of an incremental electro/mechanical gauge with numbers. I see you are passionate about how you think about your machines, I would just ask that before you insist something is true you look up the facts or admit you don't know everything and quit bluffing. Especially when you say in one breathe that some guys are the smartest people on the subject and in the same breathe say they told you to run windshield solvent for coolant (which is for all practical purposes straight water with color added). You sound confused. But if you can prove they are right beyond a reasonable doubt I will admit you are right. I don't know everything, but I do know enough.

Ahem...I "THINK" he may have been trying to redeem himself...you know....by actually "making fun" of the experts telling him to run washer fluid. It looked like that to me anyway.WTF do I know?Hell...I get things so fuc^%$ up....couldn't even remember if he "added" or "removed" fuel in my map Don't mind me....I've been awake all night again...it's my day off....my rear tire is showing steel belts....my HIGH MILEAGE TIRE only got 2600 miles on it.....and it's friggin raining here. It'll most likely clear really nice later on... I can't ride...unless I want to pretend I'm on a moped.Sometimes...things just suck!Won't get my new tire till the 31st or so.

"car guys on yellowbullet"...hmmm...sounds intriguing Maybe they're buildin those...whattayacallits....the things with the zx14 engines in em?

yeah, I hear you Blue, I think everyone is getting tired of the debate.

As far as the rain it has been raining the last two days here. I'm driving my truck ONLY because I just polished the bike before it started and I refuse to let it get dirty again this quick LOL Which reminds me I gotta get a new chain and sprockets. OEM finally had it. Noticed knocking and bumping through the pegs and when I lubed it doing the pegs I noticed the rear sprock shark toothin bad. bummer...

Not on the 14 if you read my post through its says there is a display on the 2011 zx-10 that shows IAT's This is way I think they would have an IAT sensor on the 14. I don't understand why its on display on the new 10r? It just is.

I wasn't making fun. I was lol at my statement about it being in my head. I guess I could have put the lol somewhere else huh. Supposidly the detergent in washerfluid lowers the freezing temp of water a good bit so you still have a little protection on your water freezing, And is dragstrip safe so you can run that at any track no matter their rules on coolant. And yes it is basically water with very few additves thats why it runs cooler. again water disepates more heat than anything.

So does anyone know what the bars are in actual temperature? I would like to have an idea of the actual temp without putting a guage on it.

So, if I am saying the same thing, I am saying, 'I am systems management. You have now coded a 6 or an N but that was the GPS, this is our new, we can show you some tech and show off ourselves sorta reflect the tech.'

Shove that right up your party hat you shit on. Whatever you sit out, I'll be sending your own shit right back up where it came from. Not a thing you can do is start guessing here we are way past the curve guy. You are being ping-den-pong'd in the pond with the scum.

Justy, will you just relax. You are getting in way over your head and just tread water. Ass long as that is down there not listening and your ears are above the h20, I can't hear a word you are saying. Sounds more like bubbles.

If I drop a piston, will that have a ding in it? Answer yes or no or the tech stops. I have no clue if you are on the same page.

Yes, we have no bananas.
No, that is not a dent. You didn't drop the [pits] purge plate glass high enough to break say is it gut truck here yet?
