ethin14; actually Pedro doesn't have the same bike Stoner has. Different parts, different setup.

What I've read was that; when Stoner came aboard, Peddy already had the bike setup years ago being with the team longer. All Stoner did was adjust a few things to his riding style and off he went. And they have a Doohan vs. Stoner age vs. age... Stoner already with one world gp championship @ 21. Mick won his first world gp race at 25.

It is like an end of an era for the old guys was Mick leading the way out. If you are not rolling wheel against other kids @ 2 years old... 4getwoboudit you have a chance discussing factory contracts!

alg8er,the 3 riders suppose to be on the same bike, I have no doubt that from time to time race to raace riders get updates not all at the same time.
Also some riders get updates that work for them, and they keep them, as some don't work and are discarded, the bikes that started the year similar end up growing apart based on personal choices. and development.

Its up to Pedro's and Stoners individual team to get it right for there rider

Pedro is about 15 kilo's lighter than Stoner I think, that would mean suspension between the 2 would be very different just on weight alone.

I hope Motegi is a good race and no one gets hurt, lots of new guys to worry about.

Would agree Hub, if your not into it at nappy level your going to be at a dis advantage

If you don't way less than 60 kilo's then you'll be eating, rice crackers until you do.

Do you have any sponsors, to bring with you ?

Rumor has it that one of the main reasons Honda gave Marco the bike in 2012, was because he had almost enough money from his own sponsors to pay for the ride.
What chance did Dovi have, would never win a championship but sad he lost his ride after such a good year.

No way. Marco is flat out fast. He is consistent and up with the front runners. Fearless to slam it under you or around you. Get in his way and not checkup? FOOL!

Marco is great, would love to see him do well, and your right he is flat out fast, but still sad to see Dovi go out the back when he has been so consistent.

Marco will at least make it interesting, not enough room for everyone at Honda , better they keep Marco than let someone else get him, me thinks.

It was a crazy race... crashes and run offs!!!! Man! Valentino and Nicky had a chance... too bad! I think Ducati is going to improve before the end of the season. They had some good reading about VR and Ducati in Fast Bikes, they mention Stoner and his ability to ride the Ducati. Lorenzo is consistent with that #2. it's going to have to bring it for the next three races!

No way. Marco is flat out fast. He is consistent and up with the front runners. Fearless to slam it under you or around you. Get in his way and not checkup? FOOL!

Yep that's why I like Marco. Even if they let him go which I think they won't he'll find a bike pretty easily. They fined him for being so aggressive but MotoGP needs him. He's old school: "let me go by you or we are going down" kinda spirit. I know a lot of guy ride faster cause they don't wanna have him catch up to them lool. Now imagine a race with Max trying to pass Marco or vice versa..... man it wouldn't be pretty. lool

Would agree, crazy for awhile there, VR was just a bit unlucky I think , read a story that when the 2 bike touched it hit his front brake lever on , and through him off. not much you can do about that.

Good result for everyone who stayed on, stoner was lucky to stay upright and lucky the others got a ride through

Good contest between Dovi and Sic, doubt you will see that next year as dovi will be on a lesser bike, great battle win by the Hairball.

Should be good

Did a great job all year, sad for Lorenzo have a look at this , it may affect him, some riders are never the same, some it don't matter , he may miss the rest of the season.

spies will need a few ribs I think too, as one is supposed to be broken. will knock the confidence out of Yamaha for awhile, next season now I think. even if they had sowed it back on, it may of been all stiff and a problem with gloves

Maybe be better gone ????

bean07; Not yet. Rossi won 10 for Yamaha, with 22 consecutive podiums. This was the 1st year Rossi wasn't on the podium in Australia in 14 years. Stoner's got a good start though, and congrat's to the Aussie.

One of the fastest open GP riders to come up the ranks from 250 GP. His helmet came off. Head bang probably took him out. If the helmet stayed on, who knows? Bump and run is gone. Boring GP next year. Stoneruns away again.

Cold tire? What lap is this? Watch the back tire light up, he loses it, Rossi runs over his arm. The bike in the center does all the damage to that body.

And another thing. I can't tell you how much dorna ass screwed up the m/c world. They are plain corporate greedy. They sure shut down one venue I know of/part of. Now they think they know how to run GP. Factory wants to show whatheyen for. One shows that idea works this way. This engine will perform this way and win.

GP is an artist's brush, not doran in your pocket I have the lens? You are forced to watch old tech souped up. Go watch some ZX-14 get that well massaged money thrown at it. Let alone the money thrown at dorna at the door, the concessions, the parking, the promos, you name it... GREED!

I hope the factory dose no submit or... Who's fault was that, HONDA!

Seeing that happen in real time shook me up. If you have been following the season Marco was always a bit more aggressive which made take a liking to him and made this blowout season by Stoner somewhat exciting. RIP Marco

very sad ,

also very sad for Colin and Rossi, nothing they could do, the memories will remain forever.
