Stoner needs a new pic for his race profile. He looks exactly like my sister-in-law in that pic, and I hate that bitch! Every time they put up the line-up, and I see Stoner, I get angry. I keep hoping he crashes just so I won't see his pic so often.

OK Bean, you're right. I wouldn't be happy with a crash. I'll just wish for breakdowns for Stoner from now on. If he changed his pic, I wouldn't care if he won every race.

bean07; What makes him the 5th best GP rider ever? With only one championship under his belt, he has a way to go. Even if he gets a second this year, there are many above him with multiples.

No unless RPM here is ^$&#$@# it was Darrel Beattie that said he is now even with Eddie Lawson 5th in the most MotoGP wins,(amount of all time race wins) if it aint so, perhaps Darrel shouldn't of said this on our dedicated National Motor Show & ive been mis quoted, but from a few wins back they were also saying others he is now passing in Moto GP race wins.

Bean; "he is now even with Eddie Lawson 5th in the most MotoGP wins" From wiki about Eddie Lawson "When he retired from GP racing in the early 1990s, he ranked third on the all-time 500cc Grand Prix wins list with 31". Now you have to add 4 GP championships, along with all his other achievements. Stoner has a LONG way to go to even get on the top ten of all time greats considering 10th has 5 championships under his belt. He's a great rider on a great bike now, but he showed very little in 125 or 250 GP, or even the big bikes except for 1 championship, and this season. After he gets 5 or 6 championships under his belt, then maybe he'll be on the list. I only had a problem with "5th best top Gp Rider ever". Should have said "tied for 5th all time wins". Hardly a 5th top GP rider ever.

bean07; I don't want to dampen your spirit. Cheer for Stoner all you want, but don't take away from the past greats accomplishments to raise him higher. If he's great, then he'll get there, eventually, maybe, with a lot of luck.

Fair enough alg8er Hey alot can go wrong yes! Hell I know that personaly, I still think as ya said maybe with a lot of luck True but taking that all in to count at 25 he still has a good chance with his skills to attain that, I would say the One championship he won was extra special as he mastered that Crap Ducati to a title, considering the great Rossi told him to pull his head in and blame his skills not the bike last season! yeh well where the hell is Rossi now on a that bike? thats had heaps of mods & $$$$$ thrown in since Cassey Swapped ? funny how things like that go Quite hey ? On Ducati Stoner ! 07 1st, 08 2nd, 09 4th, 09 4th, 10 ? 1st or 2nd..... Rossi on the $$$$$10 Ducati 6th? 6th

I've really enjoyed watching Stoner this year.

But even more, I've enjoyed the full race length fights for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th.

Some of those duels have been 3 and 4-way and very entertaining.

And poor old Valentino just serves to remind us you might be hot stuff for a year, or two, but sooner or later someone comes along who is better than you, or you just lose your ability due to whatever.

If anyone can figure out how to make the Duck better it's Rossi and Ferguson. It's had a frame/ front end problem for awhile now. When it first came out it was so much faster than the other bikes that it didn't matter, but now the Honda has the motor on everything. Don't get me wrong, I love Stoner's take no prisoner style and I hope he wins the title this year, but don't count Rossi out for more victories just yet....
