Would be nice to go and actually watch a race though. Was so busy putting bikes back together after Jake's crashes, I didn't even have time to head up the hill and have a beer with Mad.... What a fucking experience though!... Now I know what makes Hub, Hub!

Crashes... both qualifiers. Pegram took him out in the first (well... really Roger did), and the the curse of the weekend, fucked up forks, took him out in the second.

Overall, it was one hell of an experience. We were on factory row... how many guys can say that!?!?
Was offered a paycheck and asked to stay on, but no can do... Too much that I would have to give up... Tough decision, however.

The RST leathers are cool and a lot of BSB racers use them. I wonder if you can get them here in the states?

Warning on the Pilot Leathers. A buddy of mine ordered a set of custom leathers from them and it took around 3 months to get them. They're nice looking leathers and fit him great but the lead time is very long. Also, I wan't crazy about all of his logos under clear plastic, to me they looked kinda cheesy. Personally, I would go with only leather sewn on patches.

That was the idea, I've always wanted a set of green leathers with the Kawaswaki logos on there. In the meantime I picked up this Taichi leather jacket, the green highlights are very subtle but a perfect match for Kawi green. Also matches the green Monster energy logos on my Ben Spies rep helmet so a nice coordinated look on the 6R.

Forecast is 104 F here today and 105 F for Friday, hottest September I can ever remember. Good riding weather should start in the next week or so when the temps drop a bit.
