Holly $h!t that’s reasonable where you live that’s great where I live minimum wage in F.L. $7.00 hr and unemployment is through the roof I love my job even if I have to work on holidays and get no vacation time.

Being a new member I know this was a year ago, the speed of the accident. can vary a lot to the outcome in" Pain cost" ! My first big accident was in 1985 @ 23 years/young,on my CBX750F My dad had just died, I stupidly tried to see how fast I could get around this "S" bend I entered it @ 155kms (r/h) then on my flip (l/h) there were 3 boys with small stones thrown out in front of me all the time I had, was to say ( O SHIT ) the result was only a skin graft to my left knee and minimal damage to my bike. Now 25yrs later on to my new accident.the 14/6/2010. I was 5 minutes from home,( and now with hindsight, the week before my wife felt the rear end feel odd,She didn"t tell me that she did not want me to go for a ride that day!!!!!, she said wear your armoured pants!!!!!!, I said no its warm enough,!!!!! Then two thirds through the ride ,I waved 7 bikes passed me.!!!!( rear tire @ limit 4000 kms )we were in the Adelaide Hills, At the next town we went past the 7 bikes(parked) we turned off left at a "T" & stopped, my mate wanted a smoke, I said to Dave my bike feels good r/h turns but scary when turning left.He replied yes it looks to be nearly f..d ! Dave then turned off 10 min from home,Then only 5 min from home I was going down the main street in town just before a cross/section (Doing 40kmph in a 50kmph zone) I glanced in my l/h mirror ( By this time I was two car lenghts from a tray top ute in front of me) It stopped Dead on the spot! I tried to turn hard left,"Again I said O SHIT", All can remember is hitting him in the rear left side of his tray, then seeing a cop stood next to me, and a off duty nurse putting her jacket under my head,(After I pulled my lid off).Apparantly I tried to stand up causing my r/h femur to come through my leg. Now I am off the road for 6-9 months, but as I said before the speed of the accident may vary "HEAPS" but the outcome can also vary!

F--IN HELL NO SHIT!! Results of the CT scan showed no bone linkup at all! they could not see this in the X-RAYS the upshot of this is I still have my leg even though it's hollow for 4.5 inches!the gap between the bone fragments was to far apart for bone regrowth to take place and they will determin when they can do a bone graft early next year!(January hopefully ???) it will be July 2011 or January 2012 BEFORE IM good to go back to work!the worst thing is! it wont start counting down till ??? I have the bone graft surgery ! to my previous statement! I no my limits ! I was wrong but I did allways push my luck !to get back to normal life ( work/riding )

Yeh well I reckon I've done all I can to get there Trouble is the Orthopedic Surgon that did the Bonegrath I was happy with, but as my wife said they rotate evey three months so when I go back I'll have a different one anyway! actually counting back the last year + i've seen 8 different Doctors at the Hospital not including my GP aswell.maybe after such along run of bad results maybe I am due for one bit of Good luck as far as that goes hey.

Went for a walk into Gawler to put $$$ in my Visa account to pay Jeffo for a Custom Map & was an hour to early for my Bank to open yesterday morning LOL so luckily the Newsagent opened up @ 8.30am & I bought a bike mag to keep me busy, I flipped through the whole mag leaving still 1/2 hr to go! I asked the Newsagent owner could he hold my bikemag,While I went down the road & took some photos @ the intersection where I smashed my leg, Just to kill the time same as now LOL , I only have five days to wait to find out where im at now,so anyway this is where it happened !

It's got "Heaps more of Cohooners now ! LOL anyway yesterday my Son & I put Jeffos Custom Map on her,I new straight away she was running better & "Cooler",WOW Jeffo ! You Bloody Ripper! Goody took her out down a Country Back Road he said I only opened her up 3/4 throttle Hell!Shes A Hole New Beast Mate !in third gear I overtook a car @ 3/4 throttle Man O Man she is so responsive, she nearly ripped my arms off!Totally differant Machine Mate the "Pull" from 3500rpm on, he said with the Cat gone & Jeffos "MAP" she stayed on 1 Bar( it's a mild 16c today) To finish Off Goody said he would really luv to know how much more(above 164 rwhp) shes got now!Guess what? me too !
