F--IN HELL NO SHIT!! Results of the CT scan showed no bone linkup at all! they could not see this in the X-RAYS the upshot of this is I still have my leg even though it's hollow for 4.5 inches!the gap between the bone fragments was to far apart for bone regrowth to take place and they will determin when they can do a bone graft early next year!(January hopefully ???) it will be July 2011 or January 2012 BEFORE IM good to go back to work!the worst thing is! it wont start counting down till ??? I have the bone graft surgery ! to my previous statement! I no my limits ! I was wrong but I did allways push my luck !to get back to normal life ( work/riding )

Most know I am a sick puppy. So a shaman I will go. Cracked are my bones do they fly in the body off the main trail. But let nature do it's course and of course I have bone in the knowing where to line up back in place are about 2, maybe 3 places I can count on my hands and toes are 13 dives off the bike.

I would have crawled back home and sat in bed to let nature knit and sew me back up like my shamanway in the jungle of life. Too many chiefs in the kitchen we stick and probe what nature already knows. Then again, modern medicine cannot hold a candle to the shaman you stick and probe like a dyno-body can it see more vein(s) being the key you lose of save that leg.

All that is left are the residuals called nerve damage. Gimp on a bad day. Almost walk normal on a good day? You Wish! There is one thing to know, bean; There is always someone worse off than you and now say, "Ain't Die Lucky." YOu gotta suck it up and accept it.

After all, which is better? Above or below you really gotta think before you pull.

Translate? You mean, once the shell is broken, no doctor can mend you back together again; humpty dumped off the bike? Well, yes they can... Sort of. Let us just say I have a wrist that had a bone crack off. It was such a pain for a whole year of agony working with your hands of course so you suck it up and keep working.

One day you see the x-ray where she is floating off inside you. Next x-ray years later, you see a white line around where it broke off, but there she sits; Reattached. Never had it looked at and maybe there was nothing they could do at the time and thus, nothing was done about it. I can't recall any more pain after that year or so. Do I feel any nerve damage? No. Was I becoming more a shaman so I would use the odds rather than modern med to mend me?

Hey now, how about that get off and the broken foot. Here I am walking on a broken foot I finally have it looked at after 4 months off it, short of toilet trips and what gimps I had to make on that pressure move. Again, she moves back in place and do I have pain? Like what residual is left after the trauma? Yeah, gimp on bad days, walk normal on good days. Have phantom nerve pangs and flip flops do a number on that guy, does it feed it full of nerve damage residuals? And how! The way I moved my foot just now, I could feel a little bit going on.

Someone told me about a book someone wrote about these 5-steps you go through with that kind of pain/more operations kind of stuff needed. It sounds pretty much what is inevitable. The one main idea is to tell yourself to accept your condition. No way around it so you more have to see it as what it is. I have that crashed body video where I came away with an arm again. However, it has a trick thumb that locks if you don't pop it. The arm kind of tingles all up and down. See that residual? I don't even want to count during the day how many times the thumb pops.

And when you see or think or know in you mind, there is someone worse off than you, that main idea keeps coming back to haunt you. You are sort of glad you wear your own shoes, not theirs. I know some guys/gals are not coming home with limb. I could not use one arm to prepare food and shit to feed myself. Did that opened my eyes to how they live like that but they adapt and do. So, that was more the idea of that post. Like this is any better? LOL

Thank you hub I dont have any pain at all but when I had the surgery on the 17/june this year I only had pain fer 2 weeks,now when they do the bonegraft I also will have to have another splint to stop the bone from fracturing for 6 weeks after then after the next surgery then all my muscles will wither down again to 95%,then hopefully I will have the splint off after 6 weeks whenever?????? they plan to have the 2nd operation again????? so now I have to wait between 4 to ???? weeks for the next operation with bone graft of my hip each side + some new type of filler to fill a gap of 125mm so then when I see my family xmass day for the first time in 10 years ill feel sad since I found out about not no-ing after 6 months when all this crap (re-hab etc etc) stops me riding my big redZX1400 INSTEAD of this xmass(2010) I thought!!!!! but now not fer approximately 8-14 more months!

finaly I see doctor for op details on 2th of feb, then the 11th/feb for the dude that knocks me out then providing there is no cancelation surgery will be on the 24th of feb. so with some good luck It is possible to be back to some sorta normal life bye 8th or 9th month this year

See Anesthetist Tomorrow for bloods /pre- tests then in thirteen days the operation then,maybe out by Sunday then on my way to re-hab,bin 8.5 months by that time so far !!!

Thankyou ethin14 only problem now is my insurance is up for renewal and instead of $1050 they want $1965 I'm greatfull they fixed my bike but seen as I didn't ride it for 8 months and will not be for 6 to 12 months, im shopping around so thanks "Swan Insurance" but you screwed yerself on this one !! I would of payed more but not 85% an not even riding it. thanks for your well wishes cobbar
