I payed about $950 to Sunscorp, then went to Shannons $850, after the crash I thought it would go up and it did, but they said it was for the area code that I live in, not the crash I had. I live in an area with lots of twisties , it takes its toll on the 2 wheel population. Area code that way they get you even when its not your fault and you don't crash at all.

just in case they didn't explain it to you, not sure what you got but my Shannons policy doesn't always cover any one else to ride it, just in case your mate has to ride it for you. Your mate can ride it but you just have to ring them and give them his details and all will be good. other wise if a friend rides and drops NO cover.

Cheers ethin no it's just to cover for "Storage" in my garage mate ! after reading about jafell's loss (addios amigo's) makes me think it's possible here too !! how ever unlikely though,I'm just gunna fire her up weekly for 5-10 mins. keep minimum fuel in her to stop the fuel form going off, then when I can bend my leg enough to get on the footpegs I'LL be on her soon as ,I'm going out for a last three + hour ride with two mates tomorrow as it will be the last for a long time. I phone RAH up Wednesday to get admission time for the operation on Thursday, if OK ( no temp ) I will be out by Saturday. then after eight & half months of delay will start real progress to a normal life.

G'day matt1414 just got a power bug to charge my MP3 while in there also got Nadene a MP3 for her new XR6 Coon we got 2 weeks ago so now I'm looking forward to getting better week by week from then on at least things are finaly going to start to progress as 3/4 of a year of limbo is ending thank f--ck and thanks for the replies they all help matt1414

that last photo, the red beast cuts a sweet cruve or two just sitting there. You on the other hand are no oil painting bean should get some head work done on ya mellon while your in hospital. ( is that a head job ?) anyway I'm not sure.

Next year I might be down in the bad lands S.A ,Vic for a run it would be good to see you on the 14 telling stories about being over it all , and how its in the past.

I didn't realise the beds rattle when I was rocking to Thunderstruck (AC/DC) on my MP3, five patients apparently were yelling at me to shut the fuck up, was in my own little world till the nurse tapped me on the foot gave me a filthy look and told me they could hear the bed right down the end of the ward,if that weren't enough this old fart across from my bed said the next morning you have mental issues sounds like your taking "DRUGS" I apologised to all of them & I was imbarassed, hours after I had the MP3 down low and my wife phoned me up I couldn't hear it, then this "old fart" finally eccepted my sincere apoligy from earlier on, and they kicked me out that same day, Nadene said the yesterday lol Your Not ? taking your MP3 I Hope, I replied yes sure are! and I know the bed "Rattles" Bub

Just an update, I've stopped taking painkillers as of last night,just a bit of discomfort but feels good not relying on them now,see the doc in a week from today will post again if theres anything worth wile to say from it.

Going from painkillers to bourbon :)
