Nah brenny can't walk without them for an unknown time yet mate im limited to 20 kg only on that #$@%$^%$ leg brenny on the 20th of July I'll have the X-ray to find out where im at ??? seen doc yesterday and he said I can't do any better than my stratergy of what im attempting now going up and down steep roads is pushing my leg hard to bend more (ROM)it seems the steeper the hill the more stretch for the ROM improves it,yeh coming up this 14th is a not so happy 1 year anniversary

thanks blue07 My Legs & Shoulders were still aching this morning from the 22-25kms I done in the last two days so I pushed through the pain and did an hour N half today,I told my GP doc yesterday who fills in my once a month income protection forms about the daily walks up & down steep footpaths and 2 x glasses of Juice with a Multi-Vitamin,and only 7 single burbons & no smoking since New Years! he said IMO you can't do any more than that !the whole ordeal has caused many problems with family/friends and I would have loved to use the sale of my 04CBR on other things!that's History now blue07 This is the Bike before & Now plus I have better riding gear as well now.[/img]

My local Council promoted a few years back they were going to do this walkway along the Gawler River " As a Link-up for the Heyson Trail" infront of my home LOL anyway I decided to go down this Gravel track expecting to detour back on to at the northern end of my street as the River stopped you getting around the back way! well what a pleasant suprise yet again right where I've been Living for just over five years. this Last photo is the lower end of Kingfisher Drive,at the top of the road is the Local shop where I normally walk er too.

Hey matt1414 no worries about any excuse for getting away from home mate,im sure if ya can find a three day +, long weekend say after September (enough time for me to get right )sounds like a great fun trip to for us both to do! so if ya serious lets go for it after September for sure !Ya never know a couple of other ZX1400 Interstate brothers might join in Too!

A couple of mates and I were heading for Falls Creek and the like later this year on a five + day trip. I'll work on it and pm you when I have some more details, maybe it will work into a weekend for you.

Boy O Boythe walks before today are Small LOL Got dropped off at my work place yesterday, I was intending to try walk home, only got 4.5 kms and "Dave my mate that I went with the day I crashed stopped and insisted for me to get in, I took his offer cause I spent to long at my work place with my workmates LOL an it would of bin Dark before I completed the trip (18.5kms) anyway my wife dropped me off in the morning I spoke to a few important Staff their about the possibility of returning to work doing Welding or Paperwork or anything else ! They said when I see the Doctor on the 20th of July to get him to sign me off to do some small hours first to see how I cope! So I left Priority Engineering at 7.11 am and against all other opinions from family/friends/bosses/workmates saying it's far to far Stephen yer "Nuts"! I proved to myself and others I did ! I got home at 11.41 am that's 4.5 hours on I returned back to work (by Car) to see "Sandy" the No.1 pay/compo Lady as I was going to the next Town passed it for a 80% Store discount Sale ending today, anyway and I wanted to "Clock" the Distance I achived to be "dead Accurate' ! and yeh long story but for me to even walk 18.5 kmspre-injury is really a good step ( pardon the pun LOL ) in the right direction im rapt yeh plus besides some aches in both legs and feet I feel really good still!

I wish you was here hub (as a doctor) to sign a paper to release me to go back to work mate cause my income protection claims assessor is stuffing me around every month I have to fill in three pages that are the same questions plus sign five areas on the rear page so they have the private signature to look at any thing from the hospital/boss/government about me! then also at the same time I have to make an appointment to get the GP to fill in his three forms about my present condition & when can I return to work? or what can I do ? or can they give me a different job ! then when I last filled the monthly forms in instead of me not having to complete and send not before the 3rd of every month !and to be received by the 8th so he asked whens your next appointment? I replied the 3rd of the next month! (you need to give the Gp's four to five weeks notice for an available appointment) the forms came out and said they have to received to them by the 3rd so after the 5pm appointment I went straight to the post office and got the forms Officially Faxed, then as he keeps changing everything for the same payment period every month 13th to the 12th monthly payment time, I decided to also post the forms aswell as they keep stuffing me around and thought this time they have no excuse to not pay me on the due date (13th) so I was waiting for the payment knowing the due date was a Sunday ! then by Wednesday again it wernt in my account so I phoned them up to see why it still as always it is not their even though I sign all athourity to check anything (ya know LOL like even when ya even shit )so they have full permission to check up from anywhere about me! but then always muck me around when it comes to paying up! Well I spoke to a different person on the 16th as I was not told my Claims Assessor that he went on annual leave! so I told the other person of my woes and how he does not return any phone calls ! and that I pre- arranged to fax the forms ,she went off and said oh yes they were recieved on the 7th on his desk ? No I Faxed them on the 3rd she went off again then came back & said she would put the forms through as urgent to upstairs approval then I should receive payment soon,so I thanked her for her time an low an behold it turned up in my account on Friday the 18th ! Now I have phone my Claims Assessor up 9 times (interstate) in the last two weeks and keep getting a message(Im not in my office at the moment the problem is instead of my new monthly forms theirs only a cover letter saying they will assess me by phone for the next payment? Do i cancel my docs appointment on the 6th?( No Forms ) will he return one of my phonecalls to put my mind at ease? well after phoning up yesterday and speaking to somone else,he said he will email my assessor as urgent LOL still it's the 30th of June & still no reply.(the sad thing is I have waited a few months to see the Orthopedic doc an still have to wait till the 20th) to hope the bones healed enough to get me off this Nightmare !

fuck me!thank god!(if theirs such thing!)I just got a phone call,turns out my Claims Assessor is still on "Annual Leave" so "Sotina" will phone me on the 12th for my payment, and they will forward forms for my Orthopedic surgon to complete for the following month! youhooo! some peace for at least a month an a half !

Yeh COOTER thanks mate Im hoping I can start back at work soon! even if it's just part time to start mate! I sat down at the start of the Toolbox meeting at work with about 25 Boilermakers Half I didn't know them but most of the complaints about the "shit their worried & pissed off about at Work like the "Ship yards New Defence Ships they get this and that ! more money Blah Blah. I thought Hell dudes you've got good jobs/reasonable pay ($27 per/hr Full time!) Washed/repaired supplied Overalls,Free Coffee/Tea or Milo ! Close to home, Interesting work (Mobile drill Rigs from Cab/Chassis to Full build )etc. Anyway the Forman Huddo Brought me into some of the Conversation !He asked what I thought of the General Complaints? I replied some of you guys should see things from my eyes! you all want a bit more Overtime And Money and the Forman to go in to bat for ya! when some have the Monday off after working Saturday (time/half first three hours $40.50 then Double time $52 p/hr) and time keeping some of you are always late etc ! Besides letting your self down dont you think about the Crap Huddo cops trying to justify why/when/where when this crap goes on and ya want to get rewarded ? I always did the extra hours when asked ! I never had a Monday off after working a Saturday! I worked flat out all the time and the guys that know me know this! @ 47years old @ the time and some call me old when I ran rings around most here ! Hell I would give up my left Testicall just to work and get paid 38 hours Instead of Surviving on 80% of my flat rate ! But the Interaction with the Boys in general was full of jokes, BS,Stirring Funny how I missed the ruff N ready Stuff in the Steel Shop so much! and instead of pulling in $656(after tax) per/week now! I used to earn about $1200-$1400 after Tax per week then ! I miss that too! ----------------------------------------------------- Shit mate Not riding my Beast for so long ! where do I Start with that
