That guy on the Busa must be used to riding on a track. Did you see how much of the road he was using? Everyone knows you're not supposed to cross the double yellow line, even to pass. That's what the gravel strip on the right is for!!

Yeah -- while smoking the tire the whole way! But if if you watch JPnBob's vid, you see the bike get beat by by the car where hard cornering is required.

I wish I could find that vid I saw last year of the bike vs Lambo on the track. They ran and filmed each vehicle sepparately so they would not have one another to contend with. Then they superimposed the two films to show a ghost image of the bike with the car. it was cery close but i think I remember the bike coming out ahead.

I think Sharkey got to some of the young spirited riders here...

The area is the road from Mt ST Helens volcano. Many of the videos are of the Portland Or. area rides so you can see the rides we have here. Rook the area is still interesting to look at for sure lots of barren land and such. The road is some of the worst pavement of all the roads around especially near the top or end as it may be. I hit a bump on a corner so hard that I thought the bike must be damaged and gave it good looking over but haven't found any. There so many miles of sparsely traveled roads out there that finding a gas station in time can be the biggest problem. My fuel light came on on the last few miles at one point. After hours of hauling one gets pretty tired with a big smile on your face. Can't wait till summer.

Mass, don't think we'll see that rally team on mainstreet anytime soon. Hope not! LOL.

I agree with what blue and rook wrote, above, I think anyone that buys a ZX14 has the urge, the need for speed.

Sometimes going out of town I get to a light at an intersection which turns into a US highway out of town, so lots of folks leave the light fairly aggressively. Many times someone in a cage or another bike pulls up and gives me "the looK" and off we go. Its fun.

The point about the HDs is just the facts about how they run. From the aforementioned light, most of them pull me for about 20 yards. But after that I'm gone. Or I come up on several of them heading into the mountains. I HAVE to pass them before we get into the mountains, or it will be the same as being stuck behind the family station wagon in the twisties. Thats just how it is. HDs are fun to ride, some of them you could go coast-to-coast on with ease. But they are what they are.

No kidding. He must have ridden that road a lot, but still couldn't get his turns set up right. Kept falling into corners and picking the bike up a little to reset the turn. The camera tells all.
