Well Done Alg8er, good find. Actually a good one to save. No one ever wants to believe it no matter how times this gets shown.

everyone's bike was warmed up and bounced the rev limiter before they ever got on and babied it through brake in. I don't think it matters much bur I'm redlining all my future bikes as soon as I get on. Why let the factory boys have all the fun on my new bike?

And remember people, if you run across a painted bolt you're not allowed to touch it

I haven't had need to turn any of those yet but I see a couple on the engine if I recall. Pretty much all the bolts on the busa have a paint spot.

Hub we all understand you're never wrong. I've accept you get most of your advice from your meat puppet. So blame him. It's ok, even though you espouse yourself to be the most knowledgeable person on this site (hell who am I kidding...in motorcycling), you actually didn't know why this particular screw was painted.

LOL don't remove it! Come on man, are you serious? All the paint marking means in this case is it's been tightened to the proper specification. That's all it means. So if you remove it, all you do is tighten properly again and mark it again (if you want to go by the book)! It's that simple.

As far as your justifying your original statement, this is what you do. This is how you figure out that you're never actually wrong about anything. You can't accept that you were wrong, so now you've got to start twisting your meat puppet around until it and your head agrees. Frankly I'd hate to see what you do to you poor meat puppet when this shit goes down.

Hub: "Dammit you were wrong again meat puppet!"
Meat Puppet: "Nope you just didn't understand me. When I told you to pull your hose off I was talking about me!"

Hub: "Bullshit!" (starts beating meat puppet with with the blunt side of an axe)
Meat Puppet: "NNNNNNnooooOOOOoooooOONNNOOooooOO ....yes...YEYEEYYEESSSSSSSS...Guess what hub there are no PAINTED BOLT INSPECTORS!!!!"

Hub: "GOODDDAAAAMMM YOU MEEAAATT PUPPPEETTTT!!!!"

That's ok dude, I won't ride you on this for long. I'm sure you'll be making another mistake here again shortly I can ride again....and again...and again..and again.

"No one ever wants to believe it no matter how times this gets shown"...hold on...I've mentioned this several times over these kinds of threads. Well...once maybe..okay,so I didn't say it all the time.

"now show me the #2 phillips from sears:...I follow Hub's advice closely.I don't even use phillips anymore...I mcgyvered a flat tip and filed the blade down to fit that screw head...voila!

@ hag: That was a shovelhead site. This is the current quote at a bigdog site. This was where I saw that bike being somewhat of a bulleproof bike if he was revving piss out of it in the garage, find out he admits it's his first air cooled bike. And you wonder why it glows no wind to cool the bike off. Water would do the same but the air cool shows it sooner.

@ Grn: Vic has to explain what tools are used and does he know the difference? All those wasted japanese standard heads torn out with a #2 and that fly job is one example. I was lazy and stripped a few heads using a #2. So what is Vic talking about?

@ Vic: I'm simply goofing on your ass so relax. You're this month's 24hr flapjacks. If you went to a parts page, because you have this all figured out about the paint scheme and that screw... There is no replacement o-ring or that plastic hose receiver part hanging in the hose, or the cage holder you wrinkled. It's sold as a complete part.

I have no clue why you went after that screw. It sure told me you had no clue paint or no paint.
You have got to be kidding me I should follow your lead? Of course I knew that paint was also for QC [quality control] you mentioned. That's the goof you fell into said 'trap.' And if you cut the o-ring then what? If you stripped the housing then what? That's how I read the paint and that parts page. Did you listen to the pages in the manual that says the sensor is preset so CAUTION is the boxed attention: read this. The factory is saying between the lines is that moving a factory preset won't help you reading the wires and their fixed range. Touch the TPS and you are out of book range and the numbers printed on that code page now mean shit. Vic had the better approach and took way too much apart.

You keep jacking threads telling me how much you know is going to get old soon enough. So for me this is like wearing you out page after page as the shop and parts manuals page your ass like have you stepped away from that bike yet?

No wonder KAK is looking for a decent tech that won't cost him a $200 ISC is it? Idle Control Sensor? Swap the letters around means the same thing.

Cody the Code Breaker Braking Your Balls once again!

A 6year old, Wow, that's just plain mean lol. Cut Me Deep.

OK, Maybe the only person the bike scares is me. If you think running these boosted bikes on street pavement with back tire braking traction at well over 100 plus MPH is not just a tad bit scary You and your son have one BiG Set Of Medicine Balls.

Bad, that win I'm not giving you. And if you cry in your helmet I will still know. Your boy should never see that lol.

just a day at the office

ps try braking a bike from 150mph with a round slick and coolant with oil on the tires with a barb wire fence and a hard left coming up in 600 ft

Wolfy, hag, I wiped my drive and saved nothing. All I have left are Cody and Grumpy Grandpa Gonads at it again.

Today's menu is to match the book @ 261 psi. However, that is the max number served piping hot. These are my 50'some degrees room temp cold numbers for the R.
226 psi is the first gen's max number and mine were 220 cold. Add the heat expansion and would that add 6 degrees? Doubt it. The 14 had the, beat it brand new break-in. Broke in the R by the book. On average, the 14 drank heavily between oil changes and the R always has oil in the window when the same required intervals approached their sloppy shifting habits... on average 2.7 to 3k and it's time to dump the shit.

http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partTable.asp?M=3&Mo=494&A=1&B=28000&S=

Don't ask me how I got to this page, but check out the size clearances of the crank's half cap #2 and the lower cap #3. Then look at the single set of inserts for the conrod and those matching sizes. Sound mismatched to be one clear/ants?
