Got my DMP fender eliminator and DMP LED turnsignals on my Gen4 today, really cleaned up the tail and saved a few pounds.

Looks 10x cooler with the fender apendage gone but if you really want to go for smokin' HOT you gotta get the pointy lookin' taill shown with blue's pics he posted back on the top of p2(the one with rider in b/w suit on). What is that? Some sort of race fairing tail? That is how the bike should look. The blunt rounded profile they gave the tail doesn't match the rest of the bike. If you are stuck with that, Kruz, I would look into a passenger seat cover. Maybe. I'm not sold on that tail yet. Oh well. some things you just have to grow to like.
Kruz---gimme a call up here at da soda Fountainif you got the #! lol my cell phone died and I can't access your ph#.

I'll look into the pointy tail but for now, I think I'm done. For the first time I've bought a bike I'm happy with pretty much as is. I even like the stock pipe, IMHO the designers at KFC got it right. I know a reflash would give me 180+ rwhp but it's all above 12000 rpm and a new pipe would make some crazy midrange but might upset what is a very balanced machine. Besides, with 165 HP at the back tire it's already one very fast machine. I may just leave it alone and enjoy.

Maybe you are lacking Fon Du.
Funny you should mention it, I will be in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin on the 23 of this month. Should I bring a fondue pot with me?

Am I going blind guys or is that a pretty decent looking stock pipe on there? I wasn't kidding about leaving this bike stock, it's really too nice to mess with....sacrilege I know but that's how I feel.

It's ok. I'd prefer something smaller. If it really sounds good, I wouldn't have a problem keaving the stock pipe on it for a while. Personally, I'd be after performance gains first but I too would be happy to just own the stock bike. Would have to start modding after a while though. At least a good full system and flash ECU.

I can't figure out why this bike isn't blowing everything else away in the magazine literbike shootouts. It is one of the best handling machines of all time right out of the box, it has the best traction control system hands down, it's the lightest literbike, it has superb ergonomics, fantastic brakes, fluid suspension and crazy power with lots more available with very little money spent. In a word it should be a world beater but it's playing second fiddle to the BMW S1000RR and the four year old CBR Honda. Is the midrange that much of an issue? I don't even think it's midrange deficient, compared to the other bikes I ride it's right there, the magazines are splitting hairs. Lap time wise it's faster than the BMW on most tracks but just a hair slower than the CBR1000RR. It should be way out in front, at least on paper. I think the problem is the current crop of magazine testers do not understand the traction control and are trying to ride this thing like a conventional machine. You need to pin the throttle and allow the smooth power curve and world class traction control keep you safe while you set a blistering lap pace.

Kruz,
You're a pilot. [Privvy listen] So you can compare those clowns with your background, or should I say off the ground. Did you just [listen Prv] 'bad mouth' or should I say, made comment about a comparison test?
Honda have the most torque? Then, how can you compare.
See that RR really respond to that twitch over the hill and how "Rapp The Snapp" threw it away? He was on that pile of shit RR and I saw that thing do something funny in two laps and off he went. Fucking thing does not handle is 1. The green meanie is the handler. Honda is the torque monster.
I haven't even sat on any... Trust me worthy. Ass me where my assits? On the TORQUE... I'll take the honda and fuck the handling. Like did it ever bother me? I bought two wheels and an engine is period. I'm with you, Kruz. If they cannot tell those bikes were sub-assist in the can or the ram... I rather read your take. So take that! What's his name!
I think I saw Steve on a white bike? I could be wrong. If this has HP, where is it as in it has the most. But Toaster oven is cook those suckers all up.

I want one. -bg
It's waiting for you bg, I think I hear it calling your name. Rook is even contemplating spending big green to get one. If you like handling, this is the one to own!
BTW, how's that new ZOX Spectra R working for ya bg? I'm diggin mine, best helmet I've ever owned and I crashed tested the red one back in May so I know they work. Tried to buy a replacement for it but Iron Pony sold 'em all out.

Rapp is on the rr for ruckus ride. I got this off the ama site. Honda is not even up front. It's suz or a duc. No, this bike was snapping bad! Might have been last week in fact.
And look how advanced from 2006 to 2011. And the 14's package down the road?
