Kind of fun to imagine it.
would be great to be a part of it as well, just being involved in a small way would be cool.

Hard to see how a sponsor would get his 600k back in advertising etc, crazy money when you think of it.

But you just can't do it, compete at any level with less money and you will be at a disadvantage before you start .

The cream rise to the top in any sport, Tyler will do the same if he's good enough and gets that little bit of luck.

Yeah hopefully somebody see the talent and throw some money at him!

Come on dragking, max out that Visa for the kid, hock the house, sell the wife, jump in a van and follow the circuit for a year, would be great . Come home with your tail between your legs a year later, and beg for mercy she'd have ya back.

When I was talking to the old man, he said Ty wanted to attend a trackday just to stay in shape. Dad said, 'I need a break.' Poor guy works his ass off. Last time they were out, they found another chassis tuner. Guy went right to the same rear end adjust for the front end. A few clicks up front and the kid was happy with the setup. So, my guy was talking about the right place to adjust and I guess that tiny bit more on the rear helped settle the bike out.

Here is the deal. In 600 class, it's either the yam or suz. In 1000 class, Kawi is the cc of choice. I'm trying to get them on a Kawasaki so as to showcase the brand. They bought a clapped out '08 yam, had Aussie Dave go through the bike. Ty is also the team of Aussie Dave. Dave is doing great things for Tyler, but down the road is where we are thinking.

When you see that Solis video, Ty was watching it in 4th way up ahead. These are new, front row AMA bikes Solis and Pet are running. Big HP difference.

This is the new 15-TS, yes, they abandoned the epa, found out you cannot create or destroy oil or gas, so it's back to kick some ass.

How about that little squirt? Groomed from such a young age and he was 2nd how many times the world champ-2nd place?

If time flies, this blew me away was to see the Graham Crosby still suiting up.

And if you want to see an era of GP racing... Check that grid.

Is that one of Allen Millyards creations the H2 1250

Mamola was the bridesmaid two many times, sad he doesn't have that title but still got to the top and was great

Eth, you might be right about that 1250 bike. I can't remember where I found this round of photos? I grabbed these two and one of Joey. These guys are pulling old photos out of their closet. I haven't heard of their names. Some I have; from way back. I'm digging that 33 bike. Instant favorite.

amazing grace in a photo

33 bouncing off the hay bales, got to love the tread in that tyre, look were his eyes are looking tells a story
number 30, goggles are for girls, real men don't need brakes either

Maple leaf, be up north on both photos, maybe a club symbol or just Canada

I was thinking about something less daring... like Robbing a bank

$600K!!! That's crazy. Back in the days you could run WSBK team with that kind of dough!!!!
I know this is a motoGP thread but I was watching "SENNA" the other day and it's a great movie/documentary. I'm thinking about that cause he said that he enjoyed racing more when money and politics weren't involved... something we can all relate to.

Senna, remember that one to, what's the other guys name that died the day before I think it was,
No body went to his funeral, they all went to Brazil

They say that senna's funeral may of been one of the worlds biggest.
Was a great talent, Back in Honda's Glory days

If your going to rob a bank , make it a big one with lots of loot!!!

it's shame I don't remember the name... then the next day I think another guy had a scary accident, Senna still wanted to race....

I'm waiting for my cousin to send me the Isle of Man Documentary and Faster... It's going to be good, especially the Isle of Man.

Sepang No2
At the end of the 3 days of testing Casey is were you would expect him to be,although he did that with a full tank in 58 degree heat on hard tyres.

think he could drop another 1/2 sec if he has to

Dovi is top of the yammys and Hector top of the duc's no one would of picked that

To have 2 satellite bikes in the top 5 is big news

2m 8.906sec is the cut of point for CRT, they made it

1. Casey Stoner AUS Repsol Honda 2m 0.473s (Lap 26/34)
2. Dani Pedrosa ESP Repsol Honda 2m 0.648s (38/40)
3. Andrea Dovizioso ITA Monster Yamaha Tech 3 2m 0.802s (54/54)
4. Jorge Lorenzo ESP Yamaha Factory Racing 2m 0.877s (23/51)
5. Cal Crutchlow GBR Monster Yamaha Tech 3 2m 0.986s (41/54)
6. Hector Barbera ESP Pramac Racing 2m 1.231s (48/66)
7. Alvaro Bautista ESP San Carlo Honda Gresini 2m 1.275s (38/51)
8. Ben Spies USA Yamaha Factory Racing 2m 1.432s (17/28)
9. Stefan Bradl GER LCR Honda 2m 1.492s (40/54)
10. Valentino Rossi ITA Ducati Team 2m 1.550s (15/57)
11. Nicky Hayden USA Ducati Team 2m 1.609s (7/44)
12. Franco Battaini ITA Ducati Test Rider 2m 3.490s (38/39)
13. Colin Edwards USA Forward Racing (Suter-BMW CRT) 2m 3.681s (34/43)
14. Yonny Hernández COL Avintia (FTR-Kawasaki CRT) 2m 6.632s (41/48)
15. Ivan Silva ESP Avintia (FTR-Kawasaki CRT) 2m 6.785s (33/53

stoner set that time on a full tank, it appears they are all in the same boat with that, all would of gone quicker it was that sort of test and with the weather everybodys numbers were down.

expect the Yammys to be a good thing this year, be tight in the top 5 I think.

tyre wear and fuel management, will be the thing and staying on the thing with no injuries

Thanks for that alg8er, will be a lot of boundaries and borders redrawn before the end of the GFC, the world is going to look different when its done.

Globalization, is unstoppable I suppose, doesn't mean we have to like it, in the end we are just lemmings heading toward a cliff

globalization, well to me its the cashed up Indians with a local factory and product, buying up big brand names like duc, joining there existing products together as 1, and selling them with close association with each other to a global market

You buy respect street creed, notoriety of a 100 year old company so to speak and join it to a relatively new company that no one knows, and sell it to the world, do this with a few companies around the world and then you have a bunch of nobody's over night becomes a somebody with a global plan. they'll take there local manufactured goods and give them an instant access to a globe market

small local independent companies are all but gone, being bought up buy big international companies
We have no say, we just follow

You'll have to ask dragking his view

My stepdaughter was the official Umbrella Girl for the Kawasaki MotoGP team in 2006. She worked for them at Laguna, Catalunya, and Valencia. She had a great time and was all set to be full time and...Kawasaki dropped out of the series. Well, there goes our dreams of her marrying a rich MotoGP star....
