I am 55 and when I started my 1/4 mile runs at the track the only requirement was long pants and a face shield. My 1st 10:60 run was on a 1980 LTD1000 with a 1200 kit 10.0 pistons very light kleen up on the head and 3X cams stock wheel base and low profile radial tire that some one gave to me because they did not like it.

Say what you want but back in the day a 10:60 with jeans t-shirt 3/4 helmet with a shield was just a bit scary and I was a teenager.

A few guys in my club ordered maps also and they were all impressed with the results. The maps, the plugs, the adjustments to the pump utility and the throttle position settings make quite a difference.

Taking mine in for service, and since plugs are on this service, and air filter, I'll get them to put the Pipercross and FAIC-recommended plugs in, and it will be free. Service Contract ftw.

Think I'll take my laptop along and load the FAIC map and following his instructions re: pump and TPS. Then I can get a seat of the pants until I get it on a dyno.

I am curious, did jeff ask you guys your option lists. Or all the same. I would love to see the differences in map the compares for the full pipe(what name brand)versus slip-ons or flies out maps.... Some good reading to be had there.

I really miss the map compare feature that was in the pc3 software. Makes map compares more difficult when studing the pcv maps. Dyno-Jet Boooooo.

He does ask. You fill out a form online and he calls you back. Best customer service i've seen in a while. We have put his maps on 3 different bikes here in the last week and the difference has been very noticable. I never knew about the pump utility or throttle position settings until jeffo told me. The plugs make a difference also.

uh oh, don't tell Kruz.

Glad you got it figured out and it was so simple. AS long as your bike is running good, alls well that ends well.
