After the recent firestorm about Power Commander maps obtained from F.A.I.C.S. Tuning Service, I would REALLY like to hear from everyone who purchased and installed one to see how it worked for them. The results of this poll should tell the tale.

Thanks for participating. -bg

Good to see you posting. The map Jeffo sent me is perfect, it's every bit of what he promised and what I expected. I have no complaints and only praises For Jeff and F.A.I.C.S

I'm very demanding with regard to what I would like in performance. My map wasn't perfectly on for what I hoped for. So I talked with Jeff and he sent me a revision. He has sent me couple of revisions, each one improving or correcting my perceived problems. I'm making notes right now for a final revision. I just can't talk right now so I'm waiting to get my voice back. Jeff works best over the phone where he can ask you the right questions to get the proper info for how to design your map. I can tell you he's not blowing smoke when he says he'll work with you until it's right.

So erm. This map, i don't get it. Jeffo makes a setup SOFTWARE wise and sends it over?? Or is it something physical he sends over and u have to plug into ur bike?

matsukie he creates a map for you power commander based on you bikes set up and altitude you live at he then emails it to you and you save it to your pc program then send it to the pc on you bike. also included is the proper instructions for setting your tps and turning on your accel pump feature with the correct settings very cool and he will work with you to get the bike dialed into your liking

I have one of jeffo's maps on a PC Five on my 08 ZX 14, bike runs better than it ever has, Jeff was great over the phone as well, walked me through some fine tuning changes to the map. I am a happy customer.

Never had a FI bike that was a toy till I got the 14. Finally ordered a PC5 from Fuel Moto with a preloaded map for my bike and 7 extra maps. The Fuel Moto map was good as far as being smooth and the 14 definitely ran better all over.
Ordered a map from Jeffo and did the install last night - with lots of help from him on the phone. My ride to work is only 6 miles in a no play zone so could not try out the map. Took the 32 mile scenic route going home with most of it being highway. Still smooth as can be but much more responsive. My biggest surprise when passing a car at 75 was the way it just took off and had me thinking I was in 5th gear. I went to click it in 6th and it was already there.
Quick summary is I do not know if the high rpm running is any different because around here there is just no place to play like that BUT the fun zone where life is below 150 mph is much much better. I have to give it to Jeffo for making the around town fun lots more funner.

Side note is I had Jeffo make a map for my cuzins 2008 CBR1000RR. It had a slip on and PC3 with a Dynojet map. After his ride with Jeffos map my text message from him was "Holy Fuck" and a thanks.

Jeffo may not be the god of mapping but he is pretty damn good.

I got a map from Jeffo and must say its better than any of the other 4 maps i had tried. Jeff was great when having trouble setting up some of the features he utilizes on the Power Commander. I am not sure the guy even sleeps because he explained what he does to me till like midnight and he was just going to get dinner then, and said he had stuff to take care of after dinner. Works For Me!!! Thanks Jeff............... Peyton.

I'm like the majority that actually have purchased a map from jeffo! I know it may be hard for people to believe but it does work, it performs better than any of the DJ maps that I had tried in the past. Jeffo is always just a phone call away and will walk you through every step to get it set up correctly.

Sorry to all you guessers,I hadn't had the time to post, but here it is Mikes best ET time was 10:26 @134 MPH,he was running most of the nite 10:30's to 10;50's at around 137 to 139 MPH.We made changes to the Map during the nite, his last pass was a 10:38 @ 138 MPH.The biggest problem we had was the bike makes such great power that it was still coming up in 3rd gear, next time we'll have to strapp the front maybe use a lowering link or swing-arm extention.Mike said he was only using about 75% of the throttle, trust me he is a Great Rider and his bike is Very Fast.By the way we had a Great Time.We should have some Pictures, and a Video on my site sometime soon. Thanks for your interest. Jeffo

Jeffo may not be the god of mapping but he is pretty damn good.

Apparently so. What else can you get for your bike for $50 or less that makes such a positive difference? Heh.

Someday when I get a PC (by then it might be a PC7) I'll get one from him.

A couple months ago, after I removed the stock exhaust and bolted up the Brocks CT single full system, a summed up the change as, "it lifted up on me under throttle in third gear"! I am a 250 pound rider and had not experienced this on my 06 or on this 09 in stock form. I was pleased with the added performance and loved the sound but, felt that the map wasn't quite right.

Yesterday I contacted F.A.I.C.S., with Jeff Lamperts help, (Jeff gave me probably 20 minutes or more on the phone) I downloaded a map for my bike and conditions, set the TPS, and enabled the Accell pump option. I took the bike out for a trial, and was pleased to find that the bike was much smoother, more responsive, the rich condition was gone, and the decel pop at 3500rpm has nearly dissapeared. I was also surprised when accelerating up through 4th gear, the front tire lifted at about 8K RPM.

I can only judge the performance changes by the seat of my pants, and this bike, my second ZX14 in 3 years, never ceases to amaze me. The power and acceleration seems endless. I have owned 12 bikes in my adult life, Honda Super sports, GPZ's, Blackbird, ZX10r and 2 ZX14's. I have run all my bikes up to WOT, except the 14's. (as of yet) This bike feels like a freight train on steriods, its the first bike that I have ever feared running WOT.

The map is great and I am very impressed by the level of attention that I recieved from Jeff at F.A.I.C.S., best 50 bucks I have ever spent on a motorcycle.

You guys that are happy with your pcV map can thank me, I was his test dummy, once he found out he fried my plugs I guess maybe he actually got ahold of one and took it to a dyno to do it the right way, oh well only set me back $60 for plugs and $50 for a map I will never use
