Negative on the track Wolfman but that may change. The street is just getting to be way too much hassle. Saw seven LEOs on Sunday's ride, 200 miles and a radar trap every 30 miles....and this is way out in the sticks, not in the city.

I love the model year cbr 1000, my opinion that was a beautiful version, they lost my interest when they went to the snub nose. Love the zx 10, or at least I hear the new zx10 is an insane machine. crazy power etc...
I had a kawi zx6r, I think the same model year, great bike, mine was burnt orange metallic, I just fkn loved that bike. As for cruizers, the last one I rode was a blinged out 2010 Road King with the windscreen, crome and fibreglass saddle bags. I rode that up in BC for 1600km on a weekend trip (3 1/2 days of riding)

Wolfman, agreed the '06/'07 were the best looking CBR1000RR ever, they look particularly nice in black and seven years on still a kick ass ride! The 6R is a hoot also and all the power I really need when the road goes all twisty.

I'm seeing someone right now but nothing too serious. I'm running into the re-tread problem, you know where all of these gals are carrying a ton of baggage, 2 or 3 marriages behind them. It's not like high school lol!

She won't ride, bikes scare her so I'm doing my thing solo which is the way I prefer to ride anyway. Younger women are more open to riding and way more fun in general. I've been divorced for awhile now and like my freedom, it would take one heck of a gal to reel me in!

That 25 year old sounds enticing but be careful, that's how I got in trouble and it cost me dearly!

25 is a perfect 10 or of 10, but it would also mean weekends with kids and a divorce lawyer. An as you and I both know, NSA is bullshnitz. So I do not waver from my gal and my kids...That said, man!!!!!

I hear you about the older babes, and bagage, my wife never dated before me and we got married when I hit 30. I waas lucky I got a good one. I cycled through women like ACDC records...have some crazy stories and experiences with females that lived with me.

That said, my woman will not ride with me, it's a drag, but at the same time I have the solo cowl and I enjoy blowing things up by myself.

Chicks are like bikes, can't fall in love with em, but a reliable stead that never fails you is like a needle in the haystack.

I wish the ZX-10R was winning WSB races, but I saw most of them in 2012 and I think Sykes won 2 ?

Usually he maintained a comfortable lead until 10 laps to go, and then his tires went away and he'd end up in 5th or 60th, 4th on a good day.

Kawasaki WSB Racing moved the gas tank, the engine mounts, the radiator, and a few other things trying to get it to quit eating tires. No dice.

10R needs to be completely re-engineered from the ground up.

I still think the 10 has the best electronics and a very powerful engine. And let's face it, in my opinion it is the best looking litre bike by a long shot. Ride is tight, but for us bigger guys uncomfortable...

We were discussing ole school 1000 and noted it's good looks, do you agree?

In street tune I'll have to say the new 10R's, relatively speaking, easy on tires compared to the CBR1000RR, about 2200 miles for a rear vs maybe 1600 miles on the Honda. TC has a lot to do with that I think as it won't spin up off the corners like the Honda. In WSBK tune, Sykes machine is putting down around 220 HP at the back wheel so a different animal. For one lap he's got the fastest bike on the grid, look at the pole positions he won in '12, almost everyone of them and only one half point out of first place at the end.

Wolfman, the new 10R has great TC, I can't even feel it working most of the time and coupled with linear power delivery it's very confidence inspiring. -1 tooth on the countershaft sprocket and cut one wire at the ECU to get the Euro mapping and it's every bit the equal of the BMW with 20 lbs less weight, better agility and the mentioned superior TC. Too bad the bike never got the respect it deserved.

The bike gets respect from me Kruz baby, I just love the ZX 10. Like I said above, best electronics, best looking litre (by a mile) and wicked power.
What is there not to like.

The Hp4 is more of a collectors weapon for the track, it's a jewelry bike that can deliver on it's looks. But as you said, the ZX is just as good, thousands less and in my opinion, better looking. That squint eye on the BMV is just old.

Well thanks Wolfman, agreed that the Beemer is a sweet ride also, I just can't come up with the scratch for one. That HP4 would be nice though if I had an extra $25,000 lying around. For that kind of loot though you could pick up a left over '12 model 10R and have almost $13,000 left over for race mods. You could almost build a superbike with that kind of a layout....well exaggerating a bit but you'd have one heck of a fast machine!

I don't know Kruz if I could ever buy a 25000 dollar bike. But that said with all the work I put into my zx I kind of in that price point anyway. If I had to choose between them ie the 14 and the bm. I'd choose the bm, sell her and buy a zx and mod her up!

Really as I write this, I can't deny that they are all beautiful machines.
