Looks good blue07, I especially like the looks of that high mount pipe. I have to admit I wasn't crazy about them blue ones at first but they have grown on me over time. I really liked the first couple years of production where KHI kinda stuck to the basics, blue, red, black etc. with no decals and such. I don't really think that kind of stuff suits these big machines but that's just me. Some folks love the graphics and that's cool to, long as we're all havin fun and enjoyin our ride.

That's sweet Blue but some thing look better in 2-D than other things. The busa seems to photograpg a bit closer to life--- just a bit, but I don't think 2D pics do IT justice either. The 14 looks sOOOOOO cool in life, it's hard to compare to photos. But that Tail end grabs my attention every time.

Thanks Kruz....I DID NOT like the Thunder Blue.The Plasma though,it can change hues in different lights...which is pretty cool I think.Had to change out the lower fairings(for me) as well...just TOO much Blue!
It's all in fun...you guys know that!Busa's cool....not for me...but cool in it's own right.They DO look better in real life.I think your stripes look just awesome on yer bird.Very Cool indeed.Pipe's badazz Rook!I dunno.The 14 just to me looks...well...more sharp...more "aggressive".I do like that paint scheme on that new one.Very contrasty.EXCEPT...the color design on the foremans.Just a tad TOO blocky lookin to me.Something more along the lines of how they painted the small chevrons just at the front signals there.If they could have somehow shaded that design into the grills,ya...just about perfect!Color's beautiful though.

Lil ole me. Stock Midnight sapphire blue 08 with 3" white vinyl stripes applied. I have trimmed the front fender stripes down to taper them narrower (sorry no recent pics of new fender treatment), which I think improves the appearance. The stripes are still a little fat for the tank maybe but the bra covers that up.

Yep the 14 looks best and that's about what it comes down to.

Hey Bad...I was checkin out those tires on that lowered Red zx...with the fat tire kit.I'm just curious here(as usual)...that front tire has virtually NO chicken strips on there(well,he's got some,but you can see she's run all the way over to the sidewall),and that rear looks like she's been leaned over all the way.Okay...what I'm wonderin is...HOW FAR leaned over IS that bike when he's workin the tires that way?Best I've been able to get on my front tire is about a half inch(maybe a tad more) of unused tread on each side.The back was all the way to the edge.

Blue07, I've found I gotta be on the gas hard on corner exit to burn off the front C.S. You're literally pushing that front tire. I've takin the liters and especially the 600 right down to the edge up front but I'm rollin the throttle all the way open as I start to lift her up at the corner apex. The 14 is harder to get all the way down to the edge up front cause she's got that long wheelbase and more relaxed rake and trail. Also the type of tire makes a difference i.e profile. I notice my cruiser has no chicken strips in the front but does in the back, you hit the pegs before you can get any serious lean angle going, I attribute that to the low profile front tire on that machine.

Compare my original '06 Passion Red to your bike....not even close. Your's is orange and is an obvious respray or the bike was left to bake out in the desert sun for the last four years.

It looks OK but nothing fantastic. Just another variation of existing stuff.
I keep hoping Kaw' will come out with something that includes metallic black Formans. I'd order some in a heartbeat. It's about the only large cosmetic mod I have left to do on my '07. I suppose a shop around here could paint them for me but I haven't shopped around yet. Too worried they won't come out right.
But in case any of yous need schoolin', there's black and then all the rest.

Thanks bean07. I think the biggest difference is that 120/70 profile front tire has a lot more side grip than a typical 190/50 rear we use. You have to roll the bike past the edge of the tire in the rear where you are literally balling up the rubber before you will get rid of those pesky front chicken strips. Go do a trackday sometime, you can get much greater lean angles on the uniform surface and those chicken strips are history.
