Have you done any mods in terms of comfort?

Raised the handlebars a bit with Helibar risers. That's about all. When we go on a long ride, we usually stop every 50 miles or so to stretch and walk around.

Oh, and I installed a Throttlemeister to help with the right hand pain. Don't use it too much, but it is nice when I do. -bg

That was my next question---about the Throttlemeister, I put a Salamander on mine and even though it gives you some good bar end weights the mechanism itself is not a good worker. I also had a peg lowering kit by Corbin which I used about a month and took off again it placed my feet too far outside the shifter and too angled over the brake. Do your hands get tired on around town cruises?

Very happy with the Throttlemeister. Just use it on the highway or long stretches of open road. I don't do "around town cruises". Only ride in town to get out of town <grin>. So many beautiful open roads around here -- it's incredible. -bg

If you don't do "around town cruises" how are you going to know that your bike is faster off the line than anything under a $250,000 car? Actually where I live around town cruises are the only way to get out of town as well but those are 30+ mile runs. You should be in Arizona for "beautiful roads" and usuable 24/7 (except in the "valley" in July and August)

I just KNOW it. It's not a theory that I have to test. It's a fact. -bg

I thought I was older than dirt at 64 but Rich67 at 68 beat me. What the h--- is this bike just for "senior riders"?

I think us older guys are the only ones that can afford the insurance for a "SUPERBIKE"

It's just a number, mine's 43.

The ZX is the overdue mid-life crisis. I figure that this crisis is such a universally accepted phenomenom that I might as well leverage it to my own benefit. hee hee.

Oh it is also my work truck, even better.

47 this past Monday. Honestly, it's just a number, right? I do not feel even close to that.
