Well the offer stands Jafo, whenever you manage to get here we'll go hit the backroads! Hope everything is going well for you, BTW, I remember we talked about picking up a couple of '08 CBRs when you were last here, I really like my '07, sweet handling machine and with the full system Yoshi more power than I could ever use.

Loadedmind, it sounds like Kruz is not married either. LOL
Kruz, I agree with you and have lived Matthew 6:33. I learned that you need to be careful what you wish for also. You get the dream house you want, but you also get the nosey neighbors to go with it. Keep the faith.

Not meaning to change the direction of this thread but two other verses from scripture that come to mind here are Malachi 3:10 and Luke 6:38. I have witnessed miracles in my life and the lives of other believers when they follow these simple principles.

....so when do we expect to see the BMW 1000 sitting there with the others?I think I need to get away from the UJS(Universal Japanese Superbike)concept and try something different, European and exotic. To be honest, I think I'd buy a Ducati 1198S before I bought the Beemer. The Ducati's are .....unique... and very easy on the eye. Kind of like owning a Ferrari except it won't break the bank.

The base 1198 is affordable, the R model is out of my range unless I sold everything in the garage. The Desmosedici RR on the other hand...fahghetaboudit!

Romans, thanks for talking me into buying the 6R, this is fast becoming my favorite ride....no kidding! I hit one of my favorite fast sweepers last night at 113 mph, best I've ever done on the big bikes is 107, it's not about the power it's about confidence to nail the throttle with the bike flopped over on it's side. You were right on the money, you can pitch this thing around in a turn like a bicycle.

how you checking speed surely not speedo dummy cause the higher rpm on the 600 will give you a higher speedo error ..
you kill me kruz

I'm also glad your not coming to burn my house down, lol.Naaah, your safe Romans! I did get my eliminator kit and LED mini-blinkers on there last night and it sure cleaned up the tail feathers on this bird. I'll take some pics during lunch and post 'em up. Not sure if I'm going to do anything else to the bike, may try an Akra Race exhaust and PC down the road. I doubt I would spring for an Evo again, way too much money.

and before you try telling me a 600 can whoop a zx14
No fair! The 14 got to warm his tire up a lot more.
I'm on your side with this one 1bad. I can't say much but I can say I've lived that race out and the outcome was pretty much the same...even with the 600 having ~30 mph rolling start on me. So we know where that 1 second difference (closer to 2 seconds in the vid up there) in the quater mile comes from. A drag race between a 600 and a 14 is nothing but a joke but when the road turns twisty, we better watch our butt.
