hey,slow ninja i need to know do you have any problems with the thinner headgasket.word is that if you overrev or miss a gear you could be back at drawing board.any truth to that?and if that's a urban myth,where can i buy it?

I'd certainly say those are myth's. I've had problems with my shifter a few times and smacked the rev limiter all through heavens creation. Never had any sort of problem.
I ordered mine through Schnitz. You'll also need the adjustable cam gears (change the distance between the cams and the crank, change the degrees of the cams. You need the cam gears, either to get the cams back to stock or my suggestion to have them degree'd for mid/high range power). I used the APE gears.

Those are cylinder bore sizes. If you're stock bore you'll be using the 84mm.
You do not have to shave the head.. In fact, this is basically the same thing as shaving the head. The difference is, the head gasket is easily (and cheaply) replaceable.
Basically what you're doing is decreasing the size of the combustion chamber, giving more compression which leads to a stronger explosion. Thats accomplished 4 different ways: longer stroke, domed piston, thinner head gasket, or a milled head. obviously, the head gasket is the cheapest and easiest way of doing this.

thanks slow, will be making the purchase today,but will not making the installation till the riding season is over here in memphis.this's best ideal i've heard yet!working hard to catch up with the running top guns and with your help,i'll be there really quick.thanks again slow!
