"Did you know about the square ring? No. Did you know that the rubber pulls the piston back? No. Do you know if there is someone taking your place on the road, someone is going flying?".....do I give a shit?....NO.

"You are a hand off kind of, better not mix up all this going no place" ..

I know when to give the ball to someone else.....no apology here.

GRN I rest my case and there you go with the verbal beat down on the innocent guy (that be me).

Yeah so once I pulled the safety glasses off and put the real glasses on and the words did not run together it looked like you might admit mistakes.........................

That is also the last time I complement a green bike.....................

GAS'd, you are like that hotel commercial, you pee forum plastic surgery once you wake up, you grab the scalpels away from the doctor. Something like that. Now, relax or I'll wind you up again.

I know it's not real warm but winter is all done for this year.

Glad your brakes are fixed Viper.

......did I miss something here?

Grn diagnosed the problem and it is fixed. What else is there to discuss? I didn't hear any gloating. No big deal. He just had an idea across the internet here and he was right.

Thanks Rook. Yeah, i have ridden it for 2 days now and it feels very solid. I am going to purchase some new pads very soon. Until then i am going to see what the MPG is. If it goes up, then i think something went right. It has been 25.5-25.6 the last 2 fillups. I am 1/2 down a tank right now, so if it goes above 26, i know that it was causing some of my MPG issues. I will update when i have news.

"Your brakes are not safe, viper".And you've seen and applied his brakes since he said they were doing well?

"And sit down, does not know too much giving you the OK".....HE gave the OK...read his latest posts.I think there is probably a course on the net somewhere...for "learning to read made easy with the English Language"...probably sign up for free there Hub.Perhaps you could go 'git in a squabble' over there...with all those illiterates?

Hub,
There was a blockage in the brakes. I spent 3 hours cleaning the brakes until all 8 pistons moved very smoothly. Yes, i agree, my back brake needs to be cleaned too, but honestly what else do you want me to do?

He wants you to BOW DOWN and declare him the ONLY guy around that can 'solve' you 'problem'...the rest of us(should I say ME) are nothing but wannabe bike riders and owners.....(I don't EVEN feel that way about you other guys). He's tried to discredit everything I've offered since day one...THAT's what's happening....so Viper....I'm glad you're back in business with your brake(s).YOU did the work....YOU fixed the problem. Not me.Next time...you can share it with someone else.... AND YOU'LL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT...no matter WHAT anyone else says

Get your ass back out there, pop the pistons out, yank the Q-rings out. You are not finished. "Do it right the first time.'

That's why we need two bikes. I would mark that one up on the winter maintenance list. Nothing sucks worse than having the bike OOC in the warm weather. Of course I take 3-4X as long as I should to do all of this stuff.

OK, how 'bout some more Satch? Since I'm in a mellow mood---
