Kruz, just noticed ... this Tail of the Dragon fly-over vid I made and stuck on youtube Feb '16 has 8,900 views. And I did nuthin to promote it or anything ... and there's not even any audio. So, maybe your bike review vids would be worth doing, who knows.

Oh geez, I just took a quick look at Youtube's requirement to get paid for content, and it seems ridiculous. Looks like you have to have 4,000 "watch hours" and 1,000 subscribers first ... which if that's right, seems to mean that you have to basically donate 4,000 hours of content to youtube before you can make any money on it!!! And ... as I can tell from Uber drivers (who just cannot be making any money), plenty of people will do it!!
Seems like you've got to be a big-time video content creator on youtube, or you can forget it ... i.e. you're only posting vids because you like to, not to make money.

Wow Extraplolator you got a lot of views, not sure why mine has languished in the doldrums so badly but it has. I lost interest in doing videos after that one, wasn't really worth the effort. Yea, monetization of the youtube videos looks like a giant hassle, again probably not worth the effort unless you wanted to go in to full production mode. I'll probably just stick with riding.

Right right, uh huh ... wink-winkWith 8 bikes already in the shed, one would be a fool to bet against a 9th!
Yea, if you followed how I bought those, I started out just talking about them on the forums and they just showed up magically in my driveway one day......

Well, let me say I have 10 vids posted, including 2 other minor variations on that same Dragon vid, and all the others have like under 500 views. Who in the world knows why that particular one has been the most watched.
Oh, wait, just noticed my Fertilizer Spreader Truck vid has 1,500 views HAHA! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqNfQSGt9ys
Why??!!

Yep! I'm well aware of the normal way these things play out
If one is looking to NOT buy a vehicle, avoid looking at it on the streets!!! And if you can't avoid looking at it on the streets, do not read about it or look at it in magazines! And if you do read about it in magazines, do not go look at it in the shop! And if you do go look at it, do not touch it! And if you do touch it, certainly do not test drive/ride it! Do not even think about it!
And even if you can avoid all of the do-nots, I usually still buy it!

1501 views now, I can't believe I actually watched that manure spreader video!

This is a right brain vs left brain thing, my left brain says the BMW is the way to go for it's value, my right brain says get the Panigale V4S, when both halves are working together it says I don't need either one.

Just drove the 50 mile round trip in driving rain to look at the BMW and the V4S. They had one V4 Base come in but it was sold as soon as it hit the showroom floor. They had two of the BMWs in the Motorrad colors and two of the V4S on the showroom.
In person you fall in love with the Panigale, just like I did with my 959, love at first sight so definitely a right brain thing.
The BMW.....and I looked at the exact same Motorrad colors (white/blue/red), is very nice but all left brain, somehow feels and looks very ordinary when you sit on it. To me, it doesn't evoke any emotion, kind of like most Hondas, they are simple appliances, very nice and fast appliances mind you.....but still appliances.
The V4S shouts "Fortissimo" and stirs the soul like a steamy bruschetta washed down with a fine Tuscan Chianti. OK, I digress but you get the picture, the BMW is $12,000 less and I bet I could turn a faster lap on it but the V4S calls to me like a seductive and sultry Viennese temptress and sweetly murmurs...."buy me, you will never regret it, I promise...."

Perfectly stated. Nothing about it not to like in a sport bike. But I suspect I'd always be looking for something else.
For me, though, it'd be even worse: If I got the V4S, I'd always be regretting not having bought the V4S Speciale. The white on it just sets it off perfectly vs the all-red non-Special ... is it OK to refer to a V4S as non-Special????
OK, now I'm not helping anymore

Yea, I looked at the Speciale model, they had one on the floor and it is absolutely amazing in the level of detailing, absolutely dripping with high spec carbon fiber goodies and trick race spec parts but even the V4S is going to stretch my budget, the Speciale is out of the question I'm afraid, unless I win the lotto.

If you pick up the HP4 Race the BMW tech at the next FastTrack day at Auto Club Speedway will program the race maps for you ..... OK the S1000RR also but who want that when a HP4 is at hand?

"Grn..... you are running a good radar detector right?"...nah.Not right now anyway.I'm not gonna get a ticket if I stay in the legal speed range. Here it's ten over,or less.So far,I'm doing pretty good at stayin in it.Backslid a few times.lol.But much better than I was doing.Besides,70 something,80 something occasionally isn't so bad.I can have a blast at 80 mph.AND,I've already passed police(SEVERAL) coming the other way and was right in the legal zone.No problems.Sa'll good man.I was takin WAY too many risks before. Not worth it now.

I focus only on corners and roll out of it on the straights, even then I'll see 25 mph-35 mph over the limit in the faster corners, the detector has proven invaluable as it gives me about 30-60 seconds warning LEO is lurking up ahead. The detector has become as much a part of my personal riding gear as a good helmet, indispensable.

I get it Rudy but isn't the HP4 Race extremely pricy? I'm not made out of money, the Ducati V4S is going to be close to $30K drive out which is going to press the budget pretty hard. I'm having to dip into the retirement kitty to pull this off....lol. Everything I am hearing, the V4 is way up on power over the base S1000RR, not sure about the HP Race though. It is amazing how far these bikes have come, the S1000RR was at once time seemingly untouchable in the HP department but now kind of an also ran.

I believe the HP4 Race is in the real money class, maybe $80K or more? I'm not as tall as you but the S100RR fits me much better than the new V4, just sitting on them at the local dealer. Any additional toys you collect will be great, regardless what you choose.
U da MAN!!
