Brock's Gen 3 Streetsmart
04/29/09 4:12 PM

I hope to purchase the above system in the coming days but I need advice from those who have already purchased one.

1)Are there any major weight differences between the aluminum, titanium, and carbon fiber cans? Each system's description states the whole system weighs around 8 lbs so it doesn't sound like there's much of one.

2)How much louder than stock are these? I ask because I currently have the M4 slip ons and they're too loud for me these days. I know they'll be quieter but I really want them to be A LOT quieter.

Thanks!

Chris

I just purchaced this system for my '08 The gen 3 with the pclll. I bought it from Fornarelli racing from IL. I am very very happy with this, perfect map, runs very strong, and is just slightly louder than stock, if you really get on it you will draw attention to yourself, but for the most part the sound is perfect for me, with a nice low grunt. The bike now wheelies with ease, and lays very nice darkies coming out of corners..
