Took a ride this June with the wife and my son to Crater Lake Oregon. 1500 miles all back highways. Great weather, empty roads for the most part and we had a blast. This was my son's first major ride and he rode brilliantly. Perfect positioning, super through the turns and no hesitation when we had to make a pass. And of the two bikes, his 91 CBRF2 and my ZX14, MINE was the one to break down. Doh!

Doh! Thanks AAA. I borrowed my son's CBR and hauled ass to Klamath Falls, bought a new battery, hauled ass back and put it in in the parking lot. Problems solved! Yay!

Our last evening at the lodge. Had dinner out on the deck as the sun went down.

The OK Corral. Owned by the jet boat company and an all you can eat champagne brunch.

A very nice day. After we got back I had a new front tire put on at Rapley's Motorsports. Real nice owner.

Hwy 199 on our way to Crecent City and Fort Bragg. Aaron in front and, ahem, pulling away.. the little shit!

We stopped at Trees if Mystery, a very old attraction on Hwy 101. Lots of odd redwood trees along a pretty trail. They have just put in a new tram that takes you to the top of the mountain. Very nice

Our last day at Fort Bragg. Had dinner at the Wharf restaurant at the...er... wharf.

Those were great pictures and it looks like you had a great time. I sure wish I could get away and take an adventure like that. Maybe one day.
