In a few days, my small riding group of four will be leaving for a 9-day round trip from Southern California to Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. My '07 ZX-14 is all ready to go. I've got a full Cortech soft bag setup, including tank bag and tri-bag set. We'll be doing a combination of camping and hotel-ing. I'll be carrying all of my gear, including tent, sleeping bag, pad, and clothes. Most days will be in the 300-400 mile range. This will be my first ZX-14 touring trip extending beyond a weekend. I did a very similar trip with my previous bike (2006 Yamaha FJR), but not yet with the ZX. I haven't added much in the way of touring comforts. Throttlemeister is the main touring addition. Yee-haw!
