Unbelievable!!!Ridiculous Lean Angle
Only in my dreams Yannih, that is some serious lean and they have my full respect....
A lot of that is down to incredibly good MotoGp track surfaces, amazing suspension/chassis and incredibly soft, sticky qualifying tires that are toast in under 20 laps ....and of course incredible talent that mere mortals like us can only dream of!
In the Isle of Man Senior TT you don't see lean angles anywhere near that as they have fantastic race slicks also but are required to go flat out for 236 miles on crap road surfaces, so harder compounds and less grip.
I was impressed by Max Wrists latest video on the Tail of the Dragon, he's on a new BMW and you can watch his lean angle go to 62 degrees in the corners. I'm sure he's on race slicks though.
In Track Mode my new S1000RR displays lean angle data from the IMU and I was very disappointed to find out my maximum lean angle on the road is 50 degrees, not bad for street tires on nasty roads but a long, long way from these MotoGP guys.
