Not any more Vic. Thought I would keep one bike all stock for those days where you just want to cruz and have quiet in the helmet. This turned out to be not the best idea. Sadly I never rode it. Turbo Bike was always the go to. Fun Factor of 10 has a way of calling to you.

LOL well there's more than one way (pun intended) to have fun on these bikes... they're called curves!

You know once in a while someone puts up a pic of "how it should've been". Sort of like me with my black rims on my '13 SE. People love it, and indeed I think it even looks a degree better than the stock rims. That red bike should've came with those rims... with the chrome exhaust and various blacked out bits it just goes together very well.

Vic this is a old and forever new discussion "Curves" I tell you where I'm coming from. I found the 14 Has a Fat Ass and she can corner if pushed. But,,, if I hop on the 6R there is nothing you can do I got ya. I will win, bank on it. So the thinking is small sports bike for the curves and heavy super Bike for the straight line. But ,,,,, Not really.

I found on the 600cc bikes I had to be riding at high high speeds to enjoy coming into a corner. Found myself riding way to fast all of the time. Odds of getting busted multiplied exponentially. To much fear. Track only bike. Uncomfortable little long term riding bike. So why ?

Now on the big big I can corner but not great. But,,,, in straight line with average corners this bike is King. Which is why I only ride 14s. I'm this bikes Biggest Fan. Add a Turbo, do some Drifting then ride slow. All fun.

I guess we all have our riding style. Mine is mad man for a bit. Then pussy cat to calm down. But high speed all the time is a no. Unless of course that's what you guys are doing lol,,,, then all in.

Romes no doubt this bike can ride triple digit sweepers all day long. And well that would be fun but around here I'm guessing it would land me in jail in a 100 mile ride.

Brother, let me tell you this bike is a blast in really tight stuff. I've basically lost all my spots to ride for one reason or another but a couple of those places had some very tight 90s and hairpins that allowed for a lot of hard braking, hard acceleration and scraping pegs. Seriously, if you never slogged one of these big girls around like you might a smaller bike (because it's not a samller bike) you don't know what you're missing.

Very Nice. Add the ceramic bearings and you will be in love. Truth B told, if I had to buy new wheels all over again I would not hesitate to buy the Marchesini wheels. Quality Piece.

Vic I'm originally from A small fishing town in Nova Scotia. So every summer I would take my bikes home. Around the ocean shores is some of the best riding for corner carving I have personally ever found. No straight lines for hundreds of miles. Around the ocean shores is a blast. The roads are Nicely banked in our favor too. And while I was scrapping my plastics my buddies on the six hundreds and CBR 1000s were passing me on the out side(fuckers lol). For me to make up the gaps was just not possible. To many corners to fast. Rocks insure zero chance of a walk away crash. to me it was clear I had the Wrong tool for the job.

Was only after riding with others repeatedly that I had to pick up a 600 or be left behind. Was the wife's bike but secretly for me.

Time passed and my go to bike still remains the 14. So the little sixer got sold couple months back. Just not using it.

I know it's not possible Vic but I would love to trade bikes with you for a couple hours. Promise I get the fun smile inside your helmet. Which is really what it's all about. For me anyway.

One ride and your Hooked

Hammer down is big time fun... I still giggle like a school boy when I get the opportunity. I can't even imagine what turbo bikes must be like. Especially when it comes to flat out acceleration my basically stock bike "does it" for me.

And I'm not necessarily talking about being the fastest rider in twisty stuff. That's really an anathema anyway. I mean, someone on the street worried about that sort of thing (being the fastest) I just have to kind of wonder about them as a human being. For the most part whats quick on the street is rarely fast on the track, on the street it's mostly about fun and slogging this big bike around is hella fun!
