Bought a techmount and rigged up a otterbox case to it. Now I have a gps, speedo, and most importantly a top speed recorder!!! Sorry for sideways photos. I dont know why it did that.

Looks cool.
dericrey, I am surer there is an aftermarket digital speedo that you could put on the bike but nothing that will fit neatly into the instrument cluster if that's what you had in mind.
racer, DO NOT leave that mount in the stem for too long or as mentioned on your other thread, you will not get it out. You will damage threads if you try or scar up your steering stem nut if you pry. WIll always come out easy with a few gentle hammer taps on a wood dowel inserted from below. ....but if you are not planning to take the mount off, you can look at it as the mount's built in antitheft system.

Rook, I have seen aftermarket add on digital speedo's but you nailed it, I would like a direct placement to fit my factory cluster that had a digital readout. I have always liked a digital speedo.

Your not kidden rook i tried to get it out already to adjust something, and that lil bugger wouldn't move. But thanks for the wooden dowel tip. For the time being if i want it out of the way i just take off one screw and 90% of it is gone. What really sucks, all it is,is a 16mm post with 3 orings around it. It was a TOUGH push to get it in. Needed water and a lil soap. But now that it's in,it moves inside the hole, just the post itself, and it is a pain having it wiggle around back and forth when riding. I don't get what could be loose.unless one of the orings came out or something. Oh well i'll live with it. And my god a digtal display is really nice to have. I find myself reading that now all the time today, soooooo much easier. And it even tells you your total milage of trip and everything. Todays trip was a lil over 91 miles!!!!!

I have the techmount you can look it up on their website. The ram mount looks much easier and a hell of alot cheaper. But does it hold the phone secure enough over bumps and speeds well over 100mph. I saw the ball mount with my phone holder and it was only 25 bucks. Does it fit fine in the 14. Pretty dam cheap. I have over 150 dollars in to my mount. But my clips in and locks in down tight.

Hey ZX! Awesome toy! Try a little silicone spray lube on those rings! I had a tech mount on one of the bikes and a little spray on a rag and wiped on made it slide like butta!
