The kit i'll be running.
Btw, you have to be extremely careful spraying on a stock engine. If you overrev with nitrous its a sure BOMB and you'll be replacing your engine. Even if it was only a 20 shot or somethin.

Real world nitrous can be completely and entirely safe. And a very effective means of increasing hp.
I had a big ol' thing typed up, but something messed up (maybe the forum?) and it dissapeared.
So heres a quicky list:
Progressive controller, proper fuel, proper tune (richer then normal), rpm limit switch.. And you have a very safe and effective horsepower increase.

Lol.
You obviously have never done nitrous, or never done it correctly.
Nitrous can be entirely safe. Its all in the hands of the installer, and user.

Romans !
You thinkin taken the plunge into the laughing gas world hehe. ?! I went to the dynotune system, pretty slick simple kit, I have not had time to hook it up tho. Also I agree with you Slowninja , nitrous is like everything else, how its used. Some people say a shot of ether will blow up a motor too, depends who is using it.

Going to do the ram air through the filter setup, nice and simple. I'll give it a try at friday test and tune nights at Grand Bend motoplex . I only live 10 minutes away from there , nice and handy . Just gotta remember to unhook it when on the road cause of our wonderful Ontario stunting laws LoL.

Questions, I assume that you can use your pc V to run on learn mode to help with the lean condition. Or have you already added fuel to your map, if so how much ? What if your first run is lean and you miss a shift ? I spent some time talking to the guys at the track on the weekend (80 shot wet)lots to learn for me. If I follow my present course my wallet will finish in 6 sec flat and bike will roll over the line in 13.5 . Please do not miss understand, I'm all in just need support (scared). Nothing worse then hearing after I could have told you that.

Dont go by me .I am just up for a challenge, us farmers are like that!!
I'll add 15% fuel for a 30 shot and see what the plugs say,Maybe a colder plug or add or subtract a little fuel.As for a miss shift I think dynotune has a switch to shut off the nitrous when in lean condition, which I should likely get. Also I ordered the quickshifter that goes with the PC V muhahahah!!!(Linear push type)
This will be a learning experience for me too. Hopefully I'll have time to do all this !

Got my MPS Spyder spray bar in and on. Install was ok.. Had a hard time deciding where to drill for the bulkhead, and actually put it in a real bad spot. I was able to make it work, but it just sucked.
BAD: The solenoid stuck, before i even got a dyno pull. Bike was turned off, installed the bottle and opened the valve and it was hissing out of the spray bar. I'm changing over to a nitrous express lightning solenoid tommorow morning and going to the track tommorow night. I'll post results (40 shot).

I have not got around to using it yet Romans. But I did install a full muzzy m14 exhaust system tho. Hopefully this month I'll get time to use the nitrous at the track.

I had a 40 dry shot on my 02 1k
I just had it to play with on the street and did not want to hurt my motor, so I installed nozzle in ram air tubes, it still had to travel through the air filter, it pretty much cut the shot in half, the dyno showed 20 instant hp instead of 40. I did not mind because needed the motor to have a long life, just had to adjust the powercommander before using, bumped the high rpm couple notches richer on the pc.
