i want to go back to stock filter - afraid that BMC race filter might damage my bike in long run because i only do street riding. do i have to do any modifications or change maps, dyno etc. I also have decel pop at 3500 rpm.- i think that is normal though.

BIKE --> 07 used 3500miles zx14 with BMC race filter and full exhaust with power commander III (never seen it but previous owner says it is installed somewhere) also i dont know if he had it custom mapped after installing the filter.

any recommendation for new tires i am taking a trip from NEW YORK TO california. so need a tire that can handle lot of miles.

You don't have to do anything when switching air filters. And avon storms have been holding up VERY well on my modded 14...they are lasting a TON longer than the stockers and stick just as good for me. I highly reccomend them
