Howdy guys, long time no see!
04/11/12 8:54 PM

I've been out of circulation for awhile, but thought I'd jump back in and see what my fellow 14 nuts were up to I see we now have a 14R section for the bike kawi should have built years ago I hurt my back pretty bad weightlifting so was out of action for awhile, but I'm back good as ever now, and still enjoying my turbo 06 14 , my 04LE busa, and old school gixxer 1100.
Its good to be back

Yo Bad... Good to hear from ya!

Pics of finished turbo?... Pretty sure last time ya checked up on us you were just finishing it up.

ya, lots of smilies but never have I seen you post a pic. I know there is not much of your turbo visible from outside but you have to get some with fairings off.

......and Back!

Welcome back! Be careful. I've had back problems in the past and they can come back just when you think you've got 'em licked.

Hey everybody thanks for the warm welcome.....and the warm-me-up picture Snuffy....beautiful bike and lady I don't know how to post pics, I can barely figure out how to quote people. I will try and see if my wife will help me, she's the facebook picture poster lol. My 06 turbo 14 looks bone stock except for the polished stainless megaphone exhaust that exits just below and behind the right footpeg. I need to pull it apart for a coolant change and chase a small oil leak from a turbo fitting I believe, I will snap some shots of it together and apart.......just for you Big D Now that the turbo is on and paid for I suppose it does need SOMETHING else done to it to not look so plain Jane
And KAK you're right a back problem never truly goes away, it just waits for you to aggravate it again. I lost the complete use of my right leg for several weeks, and it took over 9 months to get back to normal again. I can function fine now, running, biking and all if I want to, but the pain is still there. Its hurting and tingling some right now as I'm sittting here typing this
A quick question for you guys...how do I send a pcIII map through e-mail? I am going to send my map to grin but I don't know how to do it?

I'm sure Romans could tell you how to do that, Bad. Dogo prolly knows how that works too.

I would think it is as simple as taking a map file from your DJ software and pasting to your desktop. Then simply write your email message and send the map as an attachment.

No pressure on the pics, Bad. You always were pretty private.. One of those secret shadowy iNet figures LOL.

It was a combo of those Heathun, plus some back extension sit-ups with too much weight on my chest, for too many reps lol. You're right us older guys gotta watch things a bit more. Can't keep up with the youngsters forever My back was warning me....just too stubborn to listen

You can send the file as an attachment. Fairly sure I have done it that way in the past. Just have to know where you have the file saved. A few ways to find or adjust where it is.

Write the email, click attach, and browse to location of file. Click ok, etc, and send it.

Yep not long ago got into a little competition with one of the younger guys here at work, at 405 I felt a little pull in my shoulder and decided to listen and hold up there. Sux getting old

Smart man Heathun, you sound in good shape and a guy who knows when to listen to his body. I've learned to listen now too........I never had any serious injuries and unfortunately took things for granted. So I learned the hard way.
Guys learn from me and DON'T learn lessons the hard way.......especially with you're back

Not too bad a shape for an old man Bad. 5'11" 215 and a body fat under 10%
