might be interested, how loud are they, I'm looking for some slip ons that are a little louder than stock to let the idiot cager next to me hear me, but, not the leo down the road.

Nice throaty grumble from idle to about 4k rpms.... but after that.... you will be able to make cagers sh*t themselves. Done it on several occasions. Never caught any flack from LEO's about the Db's and was pulled over more that once when I had them on.

They're not Yoshi's.... but they ain't M4's either!

would it be alright to run them without getting it tuned right away, I have the flies out map I believe from dynojet. If not what map would be a good match??

I had the S/O's, flies out, BMC race, TRE, and 25mm v stacks. The map that worked best for me was the Muzzy S/O map from DJ. It was a little rich but better than any other I tried. You could try ro get your hands on Ivan's flies out S/O map (supposed to be the shiznit). However, most guys won't give it to you and Ivan won't unless you spend $200. I've seen it written out long hand once, but I didn't copy it and don't recall where it was. I remember it was on one of the more obscure zx14 forums.

I guess if I gotta pay, then I'll just get it custom tuned.

I'd try the DJ maps first. Never know, you might find one you like.

You don't have to pay Ivan for the map. He just won't give it away unless you spend $200 on other stuff from him. You'll need tires soon enough, right? I recently herad a rumor he had done some more tuning on his zx14 over the winter and now has a new map available. With all the great things I heard about his old map, I'd be very interested to hear what someone thought of his new one.
A custom tune will give you the best results. My problem is that I'm always changing sh*t. If I had a custom tune done everytime I modded something, I'd be broke! SO GLAD for the PC5 and autotune!

I'll look around, but, probably gonna go with the custom tune. I don't plan on changing anything anytime soon, as I have way too many toys and make crap $$. Ivans' sells tires? then I just might go that route, idunno.
