well i'm new to this forum and to the zx14 as well, i got this baby 2 weeks ago, a 2011 ebony/candy lime green, well i get complements anywhere i go, mostly for the looks of the byke, but also ppl know how to apreciate performance, well exept for this guy in a gsxr1000 last week that gave me the finger cuz i puled up next to him and he tried to race me from a red lite, well i wasnt gonna waist my time or byke, as im in the break in process and i can only go up to 4k rpm, as recomended, but we know better, well i just got my frame sliders, tank protector, fender eliminator and some dressup stuff, well i wasnt planing on buying the frame sliders, but 2 days ago as i came out of the mall i saw my baby laying on the floor as some hater had droped her, so i wanna try to keep her from getting hurt again, well i just want some advice as in wich direction i should go with performance upgrades, and wut ppl think of their bikes, i also live in chicago and would like to meet some other zx owners to cruse around.

Dude just laugh at the squid on the GSXR. So many of these sport bike riders feel they gotta prove something and get mad when you don't give them attention. They don't get a chance to show how small their dick is. Just like people who feel the need to act tough like they're expert racers on forums. Really turns me off and bums me out when people associated with my favorite pastime have to act so retarded.

Welcome to the forum jpzx14!! Sorry to hear about the bike getting knocked over. Man that sucks.. Hope the damage isnt too bad. I think I'd have a heart attack if I came out from a place and my 14 was dumped over.. Assholes out there unfortunately.. Best of luck with the bike.. Wait till your break in period is over LOL The bike is amazing.

thank you all guys, i feel at home, and glad to know that there is so many ppl that do care about their bykes and the sport, well the only damage to the byke was the left myrror and lower fairing, but it wasnt that bad, i already got the stuff i ordered, and put it last nite, it looks nice with the fender elininator, carbon fiber framesliders and spools, and changed the fairing bolts for spikes, i also wanna get the full brocks short meg, if any one has it i would apreciate some tips on performance and sound, and i want the db windscreen, if anyone has any recomendations, also do i need to have the pc5 for the exhaust or can iride without it for a bit? thank you guys.

Sorry your bike got knocked over. Some people are just all the time jerks. Probably kids.

Enjoy the forum. Lots of good information here.

Get ready for Hub, he is a trip.

Why the Brock's Short Meg? Its loud, doesn't make much horsepower on a stock engine......

Brock took the dyno charts off the BP site, and put them on another site. But they still say the same thing, the Short Meg is pretty low on the totem pole of BP exhaust systems as far as horsepower goes.

Don't buy a PC5, the only reason you would need it is if you want to constantly change the map based on data logging data.

The PC3 is dirt cheap these days, and works exceedingly well, and you will probably keep the map Brock sends you, because they are pretty good as provided.

Just some things to think about.

P.S. I think the best sounding Brock's Performance exhaust systems are the CT Series, both single and dual muffler. They sound really sweet and cops have been known to comment to ZX14 riders with them, how good they sound. My mc complements me all the time, they think I must really tune my bike up good. LOL.

well i though the pc5 was the only one that would work w the 10-11, and also the short meg cuz i dont like bulky muflers on my bykes, and also my wyfe rides most of the time w me, and i dont want her getting burn, she is kinda short and sometimes touches the stock exhaust, of does anyone have any xperience with the voodoo slipons? i dont relly race or abuce my bykes, i like the performance, but im a socker for looks.
