UPDATE: had the bike towed to the shop. I explained exactly what happened and the mechanic instantly said 'sounds like hydrolock, happens all the time with jetskis.' The owner and the mechanic were cool enough to let me watch the work being done. Let me see if I remember this correctly- #4 and # 2 sparkplugs had oil on them (one had alot more than the other), the other two looked 'ok'. The mechanic probably did the equivalent of 'turning the motor' after taking the sparkplugs out because oil was shooting outta those holes like a fountain! There was a ton of oil in the crank-case. The mechanic soaked the oil up with some rags, the first two were completely soaked... As it stands, I am having the sparkplugs and air filter replaced and the oil cleaned up... I have pics but can not upload (all posts have been from my phone, gotta wait to get to a 'real' computer). More to follow.

She rides alot better than she did a month ago. New sparkplugs, air filter, and an oil change. I have also noticed 'smooth as butter' shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. It's so smooth that it worries me- is it normal to not have any kind of jerk during the shifting of gears?

Blue-
No wheelies for me, I take it easy! I dropped my ZZR trying to show off for a girl. Every since then, I'm that rider with the mentality of 'if you drop your bike, more times than not, you were doing something you should not have been.' (I did accidentally get the front wheel off the ground- doing something I should not have been, lol!)

Being an A&P(aircraft tech) I've seen this problem.

Hydrolock is common on aircraft radial engines on the lower cylinders when the engine sits for a long period. The typical cause is that engine oil drains down through the push rod shroud tubes, fills up the rocker covers, and then seeps up through the valve guides in to the intake and exhaust ports. If enough oil enters the combustion chamber, the cylinder can fill to the point where hydrolock occurs.

The seepage effect in radial engines is observed by the blue-white smoke commonly seen when a radial engine starts up. In order to prevent engine damage, it is universal practice for the ground crew or pilot to check for hydrolock during pre-flight inspection of the aircraft, typically by hand-cranking the propeller for several turns to make sure the crankshaft cycles normally through all cylinders.
