As my zx14 crosses the 30k mark I am curious whether anyone has put 100k on a zx14. I thought that someone had 60k or 70k on this forum. The things I think of to avoid work. So who has the most miles out there?

Funny you ask this, I was just discussing this with my son-in-law last weekend. He said he had seen a video of a bike turning 200K and thought that was amazing, forget what it was. I imagine a mild rider ought to be able to make a 14 last as long as he wants. Unfortunately, we don't get enough ride time up here in the midwest to test mileage on bikes.

I know ninjamaster has over 50,000 on his. Over on bikeland, there's a guy with over 60k. One of the ZZR spec bikes over in the UK, guy says it's borrowed by staff members for all sorts of things - has over 100k. But I didn't find any evidence of that particular bike. The others, they posted a picture of their speedo. Here's some links:

That guy at bikeland had 69510 as of 11/2011. He had a photo. Must be 70k by now. I am cautious of claims without a photo of the odometer.

alright, alright it was 11/2010. If I was smart I would be rich. But at least I am smart enough to be moving to Key West in June. Gonna ride tha zx14 down there from anchorage.

this was the mileage on mine after last weekends trip to London, yesterday i turned 45000miles!

The mileages quoted are not all that impressive when you compare it to the numbers in this article from an old Bike magazine. How does 252,000 from a 1996 ZZR1100, 410,000 from a 1998 Honda Blackbird, or an incredible 852,000 from a 1990 Honda VFR750 sound? Most impressive, though, is the rider: 2,000,000 and counting!!!

WOW! I thought I was doing good. I'm almost at 30,000 miles in less than 3 years. I fell, as long as you take care of the bike, the miles will keep on climbing! Ride on brothers!

I think if I hadn't hit that deer last September I might have gotten 60,000 .Right now it's 52,305.Goals!!!!!

Are you riding again? 52k is a lot of miles given that you own so many bikes.
