Well Speaking of Valentino Rossi!

This is my AGV and I must say its very comfy and lets alot of air in, when U want it
too. As far as price I would have never purchased it at the $800 dollar sticker price
but I got Lucky and a friend had a hook up with a dealer and I got this for $400 cash...and
for this helmet that was a huge score cause its great.
Before this Helmet I was using a Shoei Multitec and that was very comfortable and surprisingly
quiet.

I have two Arais snd two Shoeis. I like the Shoeis better. The shield system on the Arai is inexcusable for a helmet of that price. The Shoei shield system is great. I really see the shield system as the only difference between these two brand names, they are excellent and equal in all other respects.

I pick my helmets by comfort, fit, and last, by graphics.

I have had bad comfort experience with HJC, they seem fine to me at the store but after hours on the bike they were unbearable on my forehead. I find the Shoei and Arai very comfortable.

Yeah, I think you'd be a bit daft to ride a sportbike w/o a full face helmet just from the bug/road debris perspective. I used to wear one of those german helmets on my Roadstar but I had goggles and a big Hankie over my face because there's nothing I hate worse than crap smacking me in the face when I'm riding. Only time I didn't was when I was cruising with a cigar in my mouth. haha damn I was cool lol

Man, what is it about riding cruisers and smoking cigars that just goes together. I always carry a couple of stogies with me if I'm going to be out on my cruiser, pull into a Starbucks, get a Caffe Grande and light up. Never tried it while riding though, that sounds pretty hard core.

Hard core would be a correct term to use. :) It's like what else can I do all at once that is bad for my health?lol

Kruz, just sent you a Ps of your black/red/white Zox on your head. The lighting doesn't quite match but you would get and idea. I suppose you could just take a real pic in a couple days. I'd go with a dark smoke face shield,,,,then again, I almost always think that looks best. I guess you might need something lighter to see through all that cigar smoke.

Thanks Kruz....What Size helmet are You? I have a 2XL ZOX brand new if thats your size. The dealer gave it to me when I purchased my bike and I never wore it a purchased a shoei multitec.

Canadian National Superbike champ Clint McBain wears a ZOX so I'm in good company...LOL!

Dogo, those are smokin deals, I wish I had known that before I ordered. It 's all good though, I got both of my new ZOX on Closeout and they almost gave them to me. I just went back to get another one in grey/silver and they sold out of my size in under 24 hours. You gotta strike while the irons hot!

Hi Bg, thanks for fixing my mistake. Iron Pony and Iron Pony Direct both have the Spectra Rs on blowout clearance. Price varies by color and size but they're almost giving them away. I bought two more identical to the two shown for a total of four. I gave the two five year old ones away, it was literally cheaper to buy new ones than to order
Replacement liners. BG I cannot say enough good things about these helmets. Leaving for Germany tomorrow but will have my 3G iPhone with me so I'll keep in touch.

Dogo, you found Iron Pony Direct, the regular Iron Pony has a better selection, same folks though. I paid $225 for all four of these things with shipping. I think I'm more excited over the new helmets than I was over the new Dainese leathers, they're that cool.
