What’s up everyone, so I am brand new to owning a bike. I just picked up a 2013 zx14r with 2,369 miles on it from an auction for $4,300. That’s the good, the bad is the previous owner laid it down on the left side and broke the rear assembly around the left turn signal. I’m trying to replace it but I can’t get the cover over the brake light off. I took the two screws out of the front part but can’t get rear piece to come off. I may sound like a complete retard here but please bare with me.

If it is the same as the Gen 1 fairings, you just remove the two screws under the seat cowl and then pull the projection inside the lower point straight out of the grommet .
