I joined the original ZX-14 Ninja Forum back in May of 2006 and bought my '06 ZX-14 in June of 2006. That original ZX-14 forum shutdown in around 2009 and then morphed into this forum thanks to the efforts of Bill Gordon. I still have that original ZX-14 now 16 years down the road and was wondering if I am the only one left here that bought their ZX-14 in '06 and still have it? I know Rook bought his Gen 1 ZX-14 in 2008 and still has it....sorta... Hub was an original forum member but his '06 is long gone, ditto for Grn and 1 Bad. I think all of them had several generations of the ZX-14s over the years though.

My original 2006 First Gen ZX-14 with just over 28,000 miles on the clock. She's been a peach!

Yessir, I remember you came on the scene at about the same time Rook did. I'm not sure when Grn came on board, Hub and 1BadZX12R were already here when I arrived in 2006. All the other guys I remember that had the 2006 models are all long gone now.

I was on the old forum in 08 a short time before buying my 08. I still have the bike but it would be some major work to fix it up after I crashed it last summer. Spare time is in short supply these days.

My sons gave me a 2007 ZX-14 on Father's day that year. Sold it last year.

Joined around 2007 when i purchased my 14 off the showroom floor. It now has 42,000 miles and still runs like new. Just picked up a 2019 Super duke R. Ahhhh best of both worlds

Are there any original forum members around that still have their '06 ZX-14? I can't think of any off hand, all the old timers from the original ZX-14 forum from back in 2006 have either moved on or sold their bikes. Hub is the only one still left from '06 other than me.

Yeah, Kruz, the '06 took one for the team. Probably would still have it if only... BG technically is first member. Might say he's grandfathered in. But if you look at the day joined I can't be the Grandaddy.

Which begs the question; when the first sight dropped out, how did we find out about this place? I just can't recall where on the net?
