Posted this 9/12,sorry it took so long to reply but I've been busy and the weather been rainy , took bike out yesterday for a few min. and the avg mpg was working after holding button,the mpg still says 40.5 even after pushing the button and moving.Could it be a sensor?

That would be a [No] to the sensor. Sensors code. Good point on the other that reads, 'still says 40.5...' is that it may average down the tank some. That is slow data or set data for awhile, I don't know? You might want to hang on the throttle more, see if that will change to a lower number. If it does, still no sensor problem there. Plus, if you can mode from one display to the other, the dash did not wipe out water and fuel bars with a flashing FI; taking that space up, then that too says you are good to go, Huston.

For some reason that's the only display that is not working no matter how fast I go.Thanks for trying to help.
