2013 is going to be a wasteland for me, as far as riding.
3 surgeries scheduled, two of which will lay me up for months. The third one will be done in about February 2014 and will take until June 2014 before I can even get around on my own ok again.
But... 2014 should turn out ok, with no more (scheduled) cutting to be done.
I should be able to ride my C14 over to Twigg Cycles (my dealer) and drop her off to get ss braided brake and clutch lines put on, and new kickback handlebar extensions to sit me up a bit more. Now that I have the Cal Sci Wide X-Large windscreen, I can do that because the envelope is huge now.
Other than that, I'll use my "good" days to put highway pegs on it (yep, you young kids can ride on high set pegs all day, I know I did when I was a kid, but now, screw that!), move my LED driving lights that are down at the front axles in a bit tighter so the slider actually protects them, a few other minor things.
And finish getting my tire changer put together, after having it at my friend's machine shop all winter being..... modified.
Hell yeah, if you can't modify it, why have it?
