Sup all!

Looks like I will be parting ways with my 07 VROD & should have my '13 14R next week.

Odd as it seems, many guys do the opposite which I did back in 09. Went from a 08 GSXR 1k to a 07 Vrod.
Had 4 other sportbikes prior to the GSXR.

Thought I wanted a crusier, thought I wanted a HD....WRONG!

Now here I am switching back. Feel like a 41 yr old kid @ Christmas!

Welcome aboard. The Vrod is a cool looking bike but if you're really into sport, the 14 is gonna make you a lot happier.

Wait til you ride it !!!! I went from a 2007 Hayabusa to a Yamaha Raider and was bored silly. Traded the Raider for a 2012 ZX14R and rediscovered the thrill of acceleration !!! Good luck to ya !!

Last HD I rode was a 2010 dressed to the tits Road King. You got to love HD's man, beautiful bikes. Can't wait to hear what you think of the ZX and it's eyeball socket ripping power!!! Send a pic of the new lady!

God that is my dream bike. I would possibly trade/sell mine next year to get a left over 14r in white like that.

Beast, the white is crazy nice, I'd say elegant and stunning.
Okie, does it have any clearcoat sparkles in the white, or is it just plain white gloss. Either way man,that colour is tops.

If I were to buy again and green was not offerred, Foshizel, I'd get white.

It has metallic flake to it. Pearl stardust white is what Kawa calls it.

Not going to get to crazy with mods at the moment,just the standard FE kit, frame sliders.

Even will leave the ugly ass canons on there as the quietness they offer is nice to my ears.

Had D&D Fat cats on my HD so the sewing machine sound is a welcome tone. (for now)

That is very nice! You also gotta love a place to park a bike with tile on the floor. I assume you didn't park you HD in there, I don't see any oil spots

Funny thing I noticed at my local HD dealer, I seemed to get more acceptance on my M109 than the VRod guys did. Once they found out that my bike was a suzuki they would look at it funny, but they always looked at the VRod like it was a mutant. Long as you are riding, I love it.

The cans don't bother me, FE for sure, slider, definately. My boy Meb directed me to an excellent set of GSG sliders. I am on a wait pattern for the next 6 weeks (maybe more) until they make their way to Canada.

I did the same thing went from a busa to a hd bagger back to a 09 special edition zx14 I was missing that ride and torque.

Not to get too personal, but what influenced your decision to go to an HD bagger? Mine would be solely because my wife hates the thong passanger seat on the sport bikes. Just curious!

I so feel your story..... I rode the sports when I was young, and got on the HDs back in 2000. I've been saying for years that I wish I still had a sportbike to ride sometimes. Well last summer I bid on a used 2004 ZX12 in lime green on eBay and didn't get it. A couple weeks later I walked into a Kaw dealership and SHAZAM !!!!! There it sat, the 2012 14R in blaze green. Brought it home later that week, and can't get enough of riding it. I rode it 400 miles one evening & night.... And honestly, I just love riding bikes, but this green beast makes me smile from ear to ear when I twist on it...... And I'm gonna be 45 years old this summer.... I hope I never outgrow it...

@Wolfman My back was giving me problems for a minute on the sportbike so I went to the bagger so went back to sportbikes after riding a zx14 with heli bar risers.Much better!

Dude lower back pain, say no more, I suffer too. Totally get that. Funny though, on an HD, my neck, shoulders and high back spine hurts... Don't know what's worse. Actually I take that back, lower back pain is the worse.
