yup, went quick. Glad I jumped. Reading more and more about this tire and I think it'll be a good alternative to the Michelin PR2 or pr3 that I was going to get, when I need tires.
and for those that didn't catch it: My understanding is that once they get the proof of purchase, they will e-mail you a coupon code for their "store" where you can order a front tire for 25$. and said it takes what? 2-4 weeks for delivery of the free tire.

I noticed the count the last time I looked at the ad. It was 0. I didn't realize Pirelli was limitting the # of free tires...sounded like they were limitting the toime the offer was good. I shoulda jumped on it. I might buy a rear to try it out...I don't really need a front but it is sure nice to have that when tires get changed. Much safer too.

My Kawi dealer wanted $250 for the factory sized tire! I told them I could get it for $200 through Dennis Kirk and $180 from other places.

3200 miles. A lot of fast straight line running. There are no curvy roads in my neck of the woods.

I hope this angel GT lasts a little longer on the straight line running.

Mine came today as well. Shipped on 07/02, delivered 07/05 = with the holiday, they came quick!
On a side note, I had been thinking of buying another rear metzler, to go with the oem front (before using these), since I try to get 2:1 wear. Now, it doesn't look like that will work.
The stock front has "some" cupping/accelerated wear on the left side. Im not sure if it (rear) was slightly misaligned from the factory, or if its our road crown in Michigan, or the fact that I like to ride upright with my left hand propping myself up a bit that caused it. Heck, it might even be that I make more left hand turns, than right. But I doubt it.
Now, I hope to make the stockers last the rest of the summer; but am doubtful. I just passed 5K miles.

My front is the same as yours, rod. Some funky cupping on the left side. I'm gonna keep my front as a backup and put all new on as soon as it arrives. I was a little slow at getting my tire bought and proof of purchase sent in, I might have to wait another week for mine.

On snap! Came home from a hot grimy miserable day at work and found a new tire sitting on the front step!
