I think I started talking about this thing on some other thread but I lost track of it.

I first looked for ZX-14 fenders on Ebay thinking I could cut them down to reduce weight and save some $$ over buying an aftermarket fender. This was not much more than th ecracked fenders that were up for sale on Ebay. Looks cool and less work.

I would like to get this thing painted blue on top and leave the sides black ABS plastic. For now, I tried a quick preinstall check and it appears that the holes match up nice. Should be no problem.

The plastic is thin but I imagine it will hold up to any small stones fine. Anything big that flies up and hits it will prolly bust it. I hope it is stiff enough to withstand vibrating at high speed. All of that remains to be seen.

What I am really impressed with is the weight difference. There goes another pound off the 14.
