The only thing i have ever used is Sea Foam. I don't feel that i ever had a problem with injectors being obstructed but I use a couple ounces every other time i fill the tank as a preventative measure. Once or twice a year, I go with the full, recommended dosage and I store it that way too.

I've used the Techron a couple of times-worked well I thought.Used the Gumout Extreme cleaner(grey bottle)-that was good as well.Next try is the Gumout "maximum"-something like that-comes in a yellow bottle.Never tried Sea-foam-supposed to be good as well.Intervals of probably around 5,000 miles-maybe a bit more?

+1 on Sea Foam. Used it for years and always wondered if it was just giving me peace of mind. It's not like the bikes felt much different, but it seemed like good practice.

It definitely saved me from tearing down the carbs on my ZRX when I bought it; the bike barely ran. About a month after using it I re-jetted and the bowls were really clean which kind of surprised me because the bike sat for quite a while before I bought it and definitely was varnished up in there.

On the other hand fresh fuel can really clean things up too. I would love to see some real, non-infomercial type of science on this topic.
